Chapter 117: Omake: The Chocolate-making Drill Sergeant

A/N: A short Valentine's day chapter. Sorry its a bit late.

---------------------------

(Morax: POV)

Wearing an apron I stood in the kitchen of the Owl House, Rose directly on my left wearing on as well.

An annoyed expression on her face.

Which I don't blame her for. Since right now I'm slightly annoyed as well.

Standing before us are Eina, Alise, Gaul, and Rogue.

Why?

We are getting ready to instruct them on how to make home-made chocolate.

Valentine's day is approaching in Orario.

The other day at the guild Eina asked Rose to help her make some chocolates for a certain someone.

But I know exactly who they are for.

A certain bunny protagonist who finally showed up a few weeks ago.

Looks like his harem aura is already in full effect, given how Eina is acting.

Since she's never made chocolates for anyone before from what Rose tells me.

She's received them from her adventurers, both male and female I might add, but she's never given any back.

So Bell is one lucky guy.

Even if his denseness from being a harem protagonist won't allow him to see it.

Moving on.

Rose told Eina no on helping her. But the half-elf just kept asking and asking and Rose finally agreed.

Somehow Alise overheard this and asked to get in on the action.

Which caused Rose to ask me to help her out since Alise has the type of personality she has trouble dealing with the most.

I agreed.

However when I told the others this Rogue and Gaul decided to join us.

Now here the six of are.

"Let's get started." Rose spoke. She then lifted up the rolling pin on the table in front of us and pointed at Eina and the others. "From here on out you will follow my instructions to the letter. Is that clear?"

"Yes." Eina said.

"Sorry, I didn't catch that since only one of you answered. I asked, am I clear?!'

"Yes mam!" Everyone shouted this time. Stiffening up like military recruits in front of their drill sergeant.

I never seen this side of Rose before, but I'm seriously aroused by it.

Drill Sergeant Rose can order me around any time.

"Excellent. Now then, let's begin." Rose said.

After she did so we started the crash course in chocolate-making 101.

"Eina, your whipping the mix to fast, go slower!"

"Alise, no more extra ingredients or the overall flavor will be ruined!"

"Rogue, the batter needs time to harden so stop poking it and wait!"

Rose gave out instructions, smacking anyone who didn't follow her words with the rolling pin in her hands.

While I simply stood to the side, a wry smile on my face.

I'm not even needed.

Before I knew it everything was over.

The chocolates were done and the four who made them were standing as stiff as boards as Rose examined their creations.

Once she finished doing so she ate on from each person's batch.

"Seems like you maggots weren't a waste of my time after all." Rose said. "All your chocolates are edible."

"Wait, did Rose just call us maggots?" Rogue asked.

But no one spoke up.

"Thank you once more Rose." Eina told her. "I really appreciate this. Really."

"The same." Alise said.

"Me three." Gaul added.

"Me four." Rogue said.

"Just shut up and clean up." Rose spat.

But everyone just ignored her and smiled in her direction.

"Ah look teacher Rose, your students are praising you." I said.

"Shut up!" Rose cried.

Going a bit red in the face from embarrassment as she did so.

She's just too cute sometimes.
