Chapter 109: Some Things Never Change

Soon the day of their departure arrived. 

Duke Salvador looked at the man before turning towards the Emperor. The atmosphere was a little stiff but he did not care. "I feel like it's time for them to leave." 

Duke Salvador smiled as he turned towards Ed. "You have to protect the fifth princess at all costs. She is the royal blood as well as your responsibility now. You are a black eagle so you need to behave like one." 

Ed nodded his head as he walked behind the carriage with his horse where Princess Cassandra and Princess Teimei sat. He rode the horse as he looked at the man who looked like him with sharp eyes before he nodded his head.

The message was clear. 'You need to handle everything here till I am back.'
