Chapter 85: Chapter 85 Entering Royal Palace to Serve Queen Eliza

Williams didn't come back tonight for he came to serve Queen Eliza as she's badly ill. King wanted Calamity to come to cure her but Queen Eliza refused.

Last year, Queen Eliza tumbled and hurt her head, which distorted her vision and made her see nothing later on. As she's a strong-minded woman, she still pretended to be fine though she could see nothing. After falling down on the ground several times, she became irascible and refused to be treated by the doctors, for she thought she would die in the end and didn't want to suffer it anymore. Then she had no treatments and medicines but to wait for death.

At the beginning, the King might ask doctors to cure for her during her sleep. As Queen Eliza lost her vision and her ears became acute enough to find it out, she was furious and threw her pillows on the ground, blaming the King, "Why do you force me to suffer the pains? Can't I go to die? Just let me die peacefully and don't toss me anymore unless you can cure my eyes."
