Chapter 6: Chapter 6
We are on the second year of my training and I got to say this was a very hard year, yeah uncle qrow has been drilling in the ways of the scythe into my head without any mercy, like I have count less cuts on my body and the increased weight, I'm pretty sure he's just pushing what I can handle before I crack or burn out but super op healing and a good meal is all I need
But so far this year only my speed, techniques and move sets have improved as my semblance is maxed out of the things I can do and I've also decided to let my aura do its own thing because training it takes up to much time and the resolutes are not worth it any more and ever since the grim trip uncle qrow has been throwing me at an and all packs of grimm he can find and then telling me to kill them as he watches other than training with uncle qrow I've been trying to rebuilding my relationship with yang and dad because ever since I started training I've barely talked or seen them it wasn't on purpose but training usually took a lot out of me and I immediately went to bed every day and I woke up earlier than them so I never saw them in the morning but this past year I've been making an effort to at least be there for my family but dad has been distant, slowly moving away and when I take a step forward he takes two backwards it's really irritating and yang well we don't see each other a lot as she is constantly with her friends or looking for the person who abandoned her it's also irritating but I still try for family and uncle qrow has been the weirdest as before he use to be so distant and would never want to spend a lot of time with me but now he spend nearly every day with if it's not training, his telling me stories about his life as a hunter but most of the time it's about my mother and there old team and all the adventures they had it and I loved all of it to hear something about my mother that doesn't involve how she was a good mom or wife or person I got to know her as she was as a hunter from the good to the bad I was told every anyway right now qrow and I are on a airship as we where on our way to my next test and qrow said that this one was going to be harder than the last two
"are you ready for you test.... You know you don't have to do it" he said as he looked at me
"yeah but I want and besides it a way to test myself" I said dressed in a black shout dress with red details, boots with long red socks that ended on my knees
"yeah but remember never let your guard down this place is full of grim as well as bandits, so I don't want you to hold back your test is simple make it back to vale in one piece" he said as he went to the door and opened it as we hovered over the forest as I looked out
"we are quite high aren't we"
"yep"
"you want me to jump out done you"

"fine except me back within six days but before that any handy caps you want to give me"
"now that you mention it don't use your speed semblance unless you're fighting oh and take off your weights, I want you to also know how strong you really are and at least be able to hold back we don't want to repeat the park incident" he said as he shook a little
"it wasn't that bad" I said as uncle qrow looked at me with a blank look "okay maybe you I need some control"
"true you are like an highly unstable dust crystal that has been sealed in an glass container that is constantly being shaken"
*approaching drop sit*
"huh looks like you're up ruby"
"really aren't we at least going to get a little closer to the ground" I said and the only answer I got was me being thrown out off the ship
"ASSHOLE" i shouted as I fall
"I love you too" he said as he waved as the doors closed 'huh I knew it was a stupid question but he didn't have to throw me out off the ship like that but that's not important right now' I thought as I angled myself into a nose dive to increase my speed so I could get to the ground faster as it took a good 5 minutes to get close to the ground and as I was about to crash I turned myself into my rose form as I smacked into the ground a dust cloud was formed as it cleared a giant empty creater was formed and the force of the impact blow away some trees but after a few seconds a votex of red rose as they spun a female body come out
"huh that was awesome" I said as I stretched my body and began to look around 'staying here would be a problem because I'm sure that most of the bandits tribes heard my landing and the grim shouldn't care since I have my emotions under control' I said as I closed my eyes as span around in a circle extremely fast as stopped and pointed at a random direction
"looks like that's were I'm going" I said and began to walk but to the side I could feel eyes on me as I turned around the only thing I saw was a raven on one of the trees but I never made any eye contact with it as I continued looking around acting as if I don't notice it
"huh must have been my imagination"
(raven POV)
That kid just dropped from the sky and land onto the ground without a scratch 'what is she and why does she look so familiar maybe I could recruit her into my tribe she would make for an excellent discipline' I thought as i landed on a tree but as soon as my eyes landed on her she stopped and looked around but for a second I felt herl eyes land on me 'does she have a sense semblance or something'
"huh must have been my imagination" she said as she continued walking into one of the most dangerous place in the forest 'I have to stop her before it's to late' as I quickly took of flying in her direction as I quickly turned back into my human form and landed in front of her but she didn't stop as she want around me as if I was never there
"hy are you blind or something can't you see me or something" I said as I stood if front of the little girl and this time she stopped and looked at me with a blank look
"I don't care you where in my way so I simply went around you as I saw no reason to take or listen to you now if you would leave me alone so I can complete my mission I would appreciate it" she said as crossed her arms 'this kid is doing this for a.... No I can't allow such talente to go to there death like this and she has silver eyes too, I can't let this opportunity pass me with her I will be able to defend myself against selam and her forces'
"listen kid how about you come with me I can give a place to live and train you in the ways of the sword, I could make you powerful" I said as I crossed my arms
"no" she said as she seemingly teleportated around me but to me it was her moving extremely fast way faster than me as she continued to walk away from me 'did this kid just reject me' I thought as o felt a little anger
"may I ask why then" as I tried to keep my composer as I followed the kid from behind with a hand on my sword
"simple there is nothing you have that I want or need as I already have everything I could ever want so could you please leave, this is a solo mission and I don't want to fail just because you decided to stoke me lady" she said as I became extremely angry 'that it shes dead' as I was really to draw my sword and slice this disrespectful girl in two
*roooaaaar* as a pack of Ursas come out of the forest ahead of us as they ran full speed towards us 'shit just what I need' I said as I got into my stance as I got ready to fight but the kid continued to walk as she raised her hand and the Ursas stopped dead in their tracks
"what's going on here" I said in disbelief at what I was seeing as I saw a silver energy flowing from her as I took a step back but focused myself not to
"your in the way insects" she said as she snapped her fingers as the grim blow up but the was no smoke or sound with traces of silver light 'what's this, is this the power of the silver eyes but summer was never able to do this and if I remember properly its also toxic to maidens' I said as I remember the time my old team had to fight a maiden
"I would advise you get your emotions and your bloodlust in check raven" she said as she turned her head to me with a smile "oh you thought I didn't know huh well to be honest uncle qrow did tell me a lot about you" she said as I calmed down not wanting to attract more grim but 'uncle qrow..... damn him what has he been telling this child about us we all promised to never speak about the past to anyone and from what she said before I can't offer her anything she wants meaning she is probably has close ties with qrow as she calls him uncle qrow' I thought as I continued to follow the girl as she turned back around but this time she jumped onto a tree and then another and another as she moved I was following her as I still wanted answers
"wait damn it" as I followed behind her as every time I tried to grab her she had an increase of speed but after an hour she stopped 'damn this girl why did she stop' I said as I landed next to her
"I was still talking to you" I said a little irratated as I looked at her through my mask
"but I wasn't talking to you was I and I thought I asked you to leave me alone as I don't want to fail and did I say to control yourself" she said as she didn't even look at me 'this kid is really getting on my nerves'
"whatever how did you know it was me"
"you transformed from bird to human mid air and you look like him not a lot but I can see it and you small like him and yang" she said as she climb up a tree leaving down there frozen at what she said "HA I KNOW It" she shouted as she jumped down from the tree turned into roses and shattered and she immediately reformed and began to run again
"enough of this" I said as I turned into a bird and flow after her
As she ran for an hour straight I noticed something strange which was that the grim didn't attack her or come close and this was weird because grim are drawn to silver eyes like moths to a flame but here she is running through a grim infested forest and she has not been attacked once 'what is she I should ask qrow to tell me about her when I'm done here but what is that' I said as there was an opening in the forest and as we got closer
'that looks like a crash site' I said as I want down and the kid stopped at the site
"haha I know I saw something here good thing I was right" she said as in front of us were three Bullhead that I've never seen before but they looked like they had crashed here if not a few days ago 'this make sense as some business use this route as to get to vale faster and to also avoid bandits but how could she have seen something so far away' I thought as the kid want to the first ship and looked around it as she saw the front window was cracked
"kid listen I don't think you should be here" as I could see the dead body's inside
"yeah whatever you say mom... Tch" she said she jumped on to the window as she made a fist as her aura wrapped around it 'what has qrow been teaching her, to teach her such a dangerous ability like that' I thought as I remember that qrow and myself are one of the very few who could use there aura to increase their power but learning how to do that is also very dangerous because one slip up you could end up blowing you limbs
"kid wait you shouldn't" the word died as she broke through the thick glass that was made to take attacks from nevermore
"damn that was harder then I thought ow" she said as she took out her hand as it come out bloody and broken with pieces of glass in it
"see I was trying to warn you maybe next time listen to me" I said with a smile on my face but
"why are you still here" she said as he waved her hand as it turned into roses as the glass fell to the ground and her hand reformed as it was fully healed 'what a very powerful power to be able to nullify all physical attacks and also regenerate from things that would take aura hours to fix in seconds what is she is she one of salems news experiments or one of ozpins news puppies'
"enough of this girl how are you and what are you tell me before I stop asking nicely" I said as I touched my sword
"I don't think I need to tell you anything and control yourself before you attract more grimm I don't feel like fighting right now" she said as she jumped down that was when I draw my sword as I aimed it too her neck
"okay I'll stop asking nicely then and use force" I threatened as the tip of my blade touched her neck but she just walked into it without a care in the world as the blade want into her throat but it did feel like it as she moved to the side as rose petals fall and when my blade was out they reformed
"nice try" she said not caring but I was to busy as I thought about the information I just got 'she's fast, able to turn into roses and can pass though objects all these have the same property's as Summers semblance and she also has silver eyes or eye and the hair looks exactly like'
"girl who is your mother" I said as I grabbed her hand but her hand turned into roses and mine passed through
"I don't think I need to tell you cuz you are almost on the answer" she turned as she looked at me as it took me a second but
"your Summer and Tais child aren't you" I said as I slapped my head 'how could I be so stupid to not see this'
"ding ding ding your right I am Summer Rose's child but Tais I'm not sure about that one anyways my name is Ruby Rose nice to meet you useless mother" she said as she slightly tilted her head closed her eyes and smiled as I froze a little at what she called me but I pushed those thoughts at the back of mind
"I see I was not able to recognize you because of the way you look and your semblance, you use the propertys of her familys semblance individually as Sumner had told me that every one in her family has the same abilities and your behavior is also so different from hers" I said as she looked at me nodded and went back on top of the ship as she jumped and turned into roses and went into the hole as I turned into a raven and slipped in
"true but I'm me and that was her we are two separate beings now is there a reason why you are still here" she said as she went up to one of the dead pilots with out any fear or problems and took his weapon a handgun "only a handgun no wander you died" she said as she went to the next one and did the same and after that she want to the controls and began to do something
"what are you doing" I said a little curious as she kept pushing buttons
"trying to open the door and see if there's any power left" she said as the ship come to life and all the doors opened and the light came on
"impressive" I said
"don't care" she left the cockpit as she want as we walked out I realized that this was an transport ship as the dead man were all Atlas soldiers cannon fader that have no aura that had no chance of surviving the crash but they were heavily armed as the weapons were all military grade weapons maybe higher since I've never seen them before
"now we're getting some" she said with a smile "knives, Rifle,Shotgun, Pistol, Assault rifle, Handgun, Machine gun, Sniper rifle , Submachine gun and they all use dust as power sources not bullets I see I can use this and from what I've read this thing were depowered as firing them would severely hurt the use but uncle qrow scythe is a superb up version of this shotgun so if I return these weapons to full power and combine the other cores I should be able to make a weapons that should be able to bust through aura and grimm bones or creak it but I can't work with all these bodies here" she said as she used her super speed to zoom in and out of the ship as every time she come back a body would disappear "huh there we go" she nodded as she began to dismantle the weapons and took out some tool as ever bullhead had this tool in case of emergency or theirs something wrong with the ship and repair are need
"huh I'll come back tomorrow I need to talk to your qrow don't go anywhere till I come back" I said as I slashed open a portal open that lead to qrow
(Mc POV)
'ahhhhhh she's finally gone now I can get back to work and finally turn my eye off I mean like seriously you tell a person to control themselves since we a in a forest THAT IS INFESTED BY GRIM! But no you have to act like a fuckin idiot huh whatever I need to make my weapons to at least survive here I can't only rely on my eyes.....well I can but that would be cheating and the point was to test my limits and also be able to limit myself to' I thought as I took out the core from the sniper and placed it in the handgun and the core of a Assault rifle into the other but I also made some improvements using the parts from other weapons to make sure that they don't blow up and fire properly
"huh final I've made two of the pistol from Doom but one is fully automatic while the other is not but has the power of a sniper so it's an equal balance and since they recharge I should worry about bullets but what to name you two" I said as I went into deep thought "oh I know for the assault pistol I'll call you Domination and for you sniper pistol I'll call you Sever I'll paint you both when I get back home" I said as I looked out side to see that it has gone dark "huh looks like its too late to move out and this area is still grimm free but it won't be for long since I'm no longer using my light to scare them off but I should be good for the night and since I need shelter I'll just sleep here even if people died here its still the only option I have" I said as I went to the cockpit since it had windows and as I sat in one off the seats I looked at the sky and then the moon
"it actually quite beautiful you know, I now understand why in qrows stories he always said mom would always look at the moon when she was depressed or just needed to clear her mind" I said as I closed my eye and smiled "to be like her that's what I wanted but I don't want to live in her shadow too so I'll promise that I will kill selam and ozpin and bring peace to the world mother at any cost and when that's done I'll enjoy my life as the strongest hehehehahahaha" I said as I end with an evil laugh and then want to sleep
