I don't find any default except the fact that at the beginning it's a slow slow pace story but the clever author ask us about what to change we respond to him and he has started to shift his writing way. the best fic I have read on this platform because it so detailed so well written that you can think you read an original fiction and not a "fanfiction". even if my review don't sell this story to you I think you should try to read this. sorry for the grammar and the mistakes I'm not native.

Tbh i kinda like this change of pace where there is slice of life amidst the fighting, the author really put effort in making the characters feels alive and not just following the mc wothout any dialogue. I remembered reading one piece crimson, it was one of a ride and i hope i’ll feel that in this fic too. P/s. Please make sure the stats is correct 🥲 i feel quite frustrated seeing other novel/fic got their numbers incorrect

I'm one of those readers who read the original, I like the original better than this rewrite because the pace of this rewrite is too fast for me, and there is no in-depth relation and world background. maybe in the future will improve, but for now I'm rating this 3,6/5.

I'd say it's an absolute fine work of art abeit a little slow paced. The author has taken the freedom of adding some additions on his own while still within the scope of the overgeared world. would reccomend 10/10

A very underrated fanfic, The story that takes place in the Saharan empire is really fun because it doesn't follow the plot of the original novel, this feels like a real novel not a fanfic one.

This is really well written and a very appealing read. I'm not familiar with the story that this one is based on as a spinoff. From what I understand from the other reviews. So for me it read like a new story about a competant not OP cheater person doing his thing. That isn't a sociopath, psychopath, young master, psychiatric patient or something equally edgy. Something sorely missed in stories these days. I like volume 1 better than volume 2 due to the difference in balance between progression and detailing. The pacing was simply perfect there. Not too little, not too much. Volume 2 slows down from said pacing making it a slow read in the later half. I look forward to reading more.
THE BEST FANFIC OVERGEARED EVER, starting from writing detailed punctuation, good character deepening, and developments to look forward to of course (always curious...) in my opinion, making the Sahara the focal point of development is a brilliant idea!!!!
a good story, I just didn't like the MC's personality a little, I don't like the MC very much, he helps people a lot without having any interest, just out of kindness and when they're going to reciprocate he's like not wanting to be something in return, it bothers a little, but the MC's personality may change later in the story. being me can change one thing in this story i would make an MC with a more confident personality a little greedy helps people more for something in return. other than that and one of the best stories I've ever read far surpassed the original.
Very nice story !!! I find it even better than the original which is rare for a ff. There is going to be really great kingdom building for sure as well as world background form a different POV. Wish the author a long, healthy life in my basement :)

The only overgeared fanfiction novel on this platform as far as I'm aware. This is one of the best novels although the novel is quite slow paced it is worth it with amazing chapter and a steady output of chapters. I recommend all to read it, you will love it and won't be disappointed.

A very good story. Can easily stand without the source material. Characters are likeable and feel real. There are a few typos here and there but nothing that will break your immersion. Only kinda saddening thing is that the updates aren't daily, but then again one can't expect a story of this quality to keep bumping chapters every hour. Good work.
