Chapter 6: 6 - Mission Complete
" Hehehe.. I will definitely pay a visit to Serena tomorrow night. What do you think Guren? Will the Boss give us any bonus this time? "
" Tch.. you and your dirty mind! I cant understand why you visit that vixen in the red light district when you already have a wife. "
" What do you know? Your virgin mind cannot understand my satisfaction Guren chan. Hehehe.. Huh?"
The conversation suddenly stopped as the two guards fell on the ground on their faces. Behind them stood William with two iron swords which he used to knock them out using the sword handles.
Without paying attention to the Den Den mushi staring at him , William swiftly took the keys from the guards and turned around to face the thick iron door.
He had realised that he was thinking too much before. What do the guards have to do with him? It's not like he was their friend or acquaintance. So it did not make sense for William to think about their well being.
They should blame themselves because they were being employed the crooked boss of this auction house. William did not know even his name but he already despised the owner of this auction house because the man sold slaves and these guards worked for him.
William simply had no reason to go easy on them. Still he did not kill the guards in cold blood because it would only dirty his hands if he did so. It made no difference to William if the guards were dead or unconscious because he simply needed them to make no sound for few minutes.
As for the Den Den Mushi which was staring at him? William did not mind it because he had already calculated that it would take the guards from the servilence room more than one minute to arrive here after noticing something .
William would be gone by the time they arrive.
William swiftly put the keys into the key hole of the thick lock on the door one by one and finally succeeded to open the lock with the third key.
He naturally had no idea about the right key before. William summarized that the other keys should be the keys for the cuffs of the slaves. He would just deliever these to them when he was running away after completing his job here.
Loud Alram started sounding the second the door was opened. William did not pay any attention to it as he already knew that something like this would happen. After all he was noticed by the guards in the servilence room so it was natural that they would ring the emergency alarm if they had installed one.
The door was heavy and William produced good amount of arm strength to open it. It opened with creaking sound but William could not pay attention to it as his eyes were fixed on the boxes filled with silver and gold neatly placed in the shelves.
Greedy light flashed in William's eyes as he quickly entered inside the room and started storing everything which caught his sight.
Naturaly he was using his inventory. He would be a fool if he did not use such a Convinient function of the system which had the purpose of storing things inside in first place.
Leather Bags, Boxes , Suitcases etc. William did not take a second look at the items as they were stored into the inventory space with just one though.
It took barely sixteen seconds for William to empty the warehouse and he immediately rushed out from the room. The inventory was just too convenient !
William's senses were at full throttle while running so he could hear many sounds of footsteps rushing toward his direction. William was not anxious at all and on the contrary he grinned behind his black mask as he was sure that they wont reach in time.
The corridor was small so William only took three seconds to cross it and took the left curve instead of the right one which he had taken when he arrived here before.
The reason was simple. Because the right one Lead to inside the building while the left one lead towards the basement where the slaves should be.
William did not choose to run on the ground after taking the curve , instead he started running on the ceiling while paying attention to any signs of incoming guards.
His figure was fast , very fast. After all William had not practiced any techniques but due to all the hard physical training he had completed in the past month , his raw speed was way faster than the normal guards of this place.
William passed through many doors on the way and finaly found the entrance to the basement. It was just a thick iron door build on the ground. This time William did not pay any attention to the sound and pulled the door handle with all his strength.
Fortunately his strength was more than enough to pull it in one go. William immediately dashed underground descending the stairs and arrived at the floor in seconds when his eyes became cold at the sight before him.
He could see many torture devices which he did not even know existed. The blood stains had dried at many places and some middle aged women were collapsed on the cold ground with clear wounds on their bodies.
" Oi! Take these keys and immediately run away from this shit place after freeing yourselves!! Dont think about revenge right now. You can always come back to kill these bastsrds in future. For now just focus on escaping successfully.. Let's meet again if fate allows it ! "
William spoke to the young lady inside the first cage near him and ren away upstairs after throwing the keychains that he had took from the guards without waiting for her response.
He did not know whether all of them could be freed with the small amount of keys. At least few of them should be able to free themselves from the steel cuffs binding their hands.
William's rage was on the verge of exploding and he did not know how many times he had thought about massacring these trash of human beings. Still he forcefully suppressed those thought each time they came because he knew that he was not yet strong enough to fight so many guards at once even though individually each of them should be weaker than him.
Wiliam could understand now why there were so many soldiers that joined the revolutionary army. There were simply too many victims of the nobles and the bastsrd rich in this world.
It did not take long time for William to successfully get out of the flashy building as he just ran on the ceiling over the top of the heads of the guards. His steps were almost silent so nobody noticed him as he pased them like a blur.
William stood at the roof of the same building he had watched the auction house from before. He still had the mask on his face but could not help but grin underneath it while looking at the crowd forming at the entrance and the sounds of alarms ringing.
William thought about waiting for the slaves that should be escaping but decided not to. He had already done what he could for them and he did not have the power to take responsibility of them anymore.
William turned his back at the auction house and started running fast in a slightly crouched position like a leopard. He already had a safe route back to the Columbo Mountain so it wont be difficult for him to leave the city in secret even if they tightened the security to max level.
The small entrance in the wall should be made by Ace , Sabo and Luffy. William remembered that they secretly came into the city and stole jewelry and ate free food before running away. Well it doesn't matter who made the entrance anyway.
The mission should be considered already accomplished!
