Chapter 33: Noel Enters
Second Elder and Silvio weren't the only ones to catch news of James' completion of the test as Noel was informed right after the elders since she had requested to be informed of any information on him.
After the night Noel protected James by playing off his angry aura she had to explain to Patriarch Colton and the Matriarch that James had a special kind of condition that made him like that. She explained that ever since they had met each other she had kept it a secret and been treating him but since he was by himself in the forest he was unable to receive treatment.
At first Patriarch Colton wanted to take him out of the test since he feared for James' health but Noel convinced them not to take action since soon after the aura went away. With this, she could lie and say that he had taken things back under his control meaning there was nothing to worry about.
Once this was dealt with Noel retreated to her house where she lived with James and Cara. Where she also held herself in the bedroom. It was impossible for her to leave that house now because if she did then she wouldn't be able to hold herself back from chasing after him.
The aching feeling in her body wanting him more and more was driving her insane. There was a constant friction in her head of whether to do the right thing for his future or the right thing for herself letting them be together forever and always until they both died and even after their souls left the mortal plane.
Well.
It got pretty extreme quickly.
Despite how extreme her emotions were getting she was still able to hold on due to the sheer power she possessed within her body and mind. She was revolving her Qi at an extreme rate to calm herself but as she did this she also began infecting the Qi that she revolved with the black Qi in her Dantian.
It was a process that made her become more and more attached to James but also let her hold on for a little while longer. Then when she heard the news that James had made it to the end of the test she smiled brighter than any sun and shot out of the house like a moving bullet.
Waiting at the front of the house and stuttering in shock after the fact was the Third Elder who came to explain to her how the second part of the test would work and that all elders needed to be present at the platform and that she was invited if she wished to watch as well.
"Well, I guess I better head over there as well." Third Elder said with a sigh before he started heading in the same direction.
As all elders and Noel were making their way toward James, Cara was just making her way back and was surprised to find the condition of their house to be in such a way. The entire door looked like it had been ripped off while the rest of the house looked normal except for the bedroom which looked to be a complete mess.
All along the sides of the wall was the word 'James' written in a deep red that Cara could only imagine what it was from. When she realized who had done all this Cara was momentarily angry and almost shot off after Noel to stop her but then realized that for some reason the elders never arrived after James released such an aura.
In Cara's frenzied state, she didn't think about something like this since the only thing on her mind was getting to James as fast as possible.
There was only one person in her mind that would realize the peril of the situation and save James which was Noel. For this Cara was thankful since not only did she satiate her hunger for James while also spending time with him but she also got closer thanks to Noel.
'I will let you have him to yourself this time.' Cara thought in slight annoyance before she kicked the door in once more breaking it and going about her business for the day in preparation for James' return to the sect as an Inner Disciple.

Back at the platform, James was suddenly roused from his sleep as his body was shaking ever so slightly. He had been dreaming of happy times with Noel and Cara exploring the world together and was slightly mad that whatever was happening was waking him from such a dream.
He was going to wake up and yell in a fit of anger but when he opened his eyes and saw the person he was confused, "Am I still in the dream?" James asked in confusion as he looked up at a smiling Noel.
"Hmmm~ Does this feel like a dream?~" Noel said seductively as she lowered her lips onto James'. Immediately James could feel the press of Noel's warm lips on his own as they started deeply kissing one another basking in each other's warmth until Noel decided to slip her tongue inside James' mouth exploring it until she found James'
They then entangled each other's tongues together like they embraced their bodies on one another as they delved into each other's love more and more until they both separated breathing deeply as they gasped for air, "D-d-definitely not a dream." James said happily as he looked at Noel with a smile.
"Not at all~ I've been holding back for sooooo long~ Even that girl Cara was able to come here while I was stuck in that room waiting for you love~ I think it's time you compensated me~" Noel said suddenly as she inched closer to James.
James was happy to see Noel and wanted to spend time with her but he suddenly felt like he was a rabbit in front of a hungry wolf. His desires had been lessened slightly due to his time with Cara but his desire to be with Noel was very real making him not fight back as Noel suddenly wrapped him up in her arms and disappeared quickly.
