Chapter 73: Preferences- I

The next morning, Grace felt lighter, happier too if she had to say it. Her clothes were always a depiction of how her mood was and today, she went for khaki pants and white dress shirt, which was a little loose on her.

The accessories and the shoes were of the same palette and she kept her makeup simple for the day.

Julie was making her grandmother's breakfast, and Grace joined her to make her own. For the day, she was going for some oatmeal with a little bit of fruit.

"That looks dreadful." Lorelai commented, openly eyeing her food with disdain. "My breakfast looks much better than that. My vomit looks much better than that."

Grace had raised the spoon halfway to her mouth before she froze and put it down. "Vomit? Really? You have to say that before I was going to take a bite?" Her entire appetite was gone. It disappeared.
