(Sorry boys forgive me I was stuck in a time rift, didn't realise that it was already thursday, totally didn't procrastinate the chapter.(For real though I am sorry for breaking my promise, I don't really have a way to make up for that, but I'll try my best to keep my word from now on.))
Silence ensued. Kuina didn't know what to say, after all someone doesn't typically just tell you that they're a prince out of no where. 'Wait have I committed some crime, isn't their a method of formal speech with royals?' She began to question herself as the two walked through the streets, soon they ended up at Roger's execution stand.
Standing there Arch gazed at the wooden structure. The King of the Pirates Gol D. Roger on that day died and with his death he began an entire era changing the lives of everyone on the planet. A man so strong he could fight with the likes of Rocks D. Xebec, Monkey D. Garp, Edward Newgate, and even teach the likes of Shanks and Buggy The(D.) Clown.
Those weren't even his greatest achievements having been the only man along with his crew in the last 800 years to ever reach the island of Laughtale and discover the true history, yet what was it all for?
His lover died giving birth to his son who despised him, his crew was disbanded, his name changed, he was proclaimed as the vilest man to ever walk the face of the earth, and his son was executed for sharing his bloodline.
In the end though, Roger lived how he wanted, at least that's what Arch believed. 'After all I guess he did have the last laugh, considering at least in the main timeline Luffy would bring about the Dawn and everything Roger did would have been worth it.' Arch sighed but after a brief moment his eyes began blazing as he gazed at the wooden structure.
It wasn't with passion or admiration, nor was it hate or anger, rather it was something else. "Kuina what's your dream?" Arch asked, his eyes never leaving the wooden structure. "...I-I want to be the world's strongest swordman." She replied somewhat timidly.
"Good dream, I wasn't wrong taking you with me." Arch smiled before locking eyes with her. "When we arrive at my Kingdom I'll introduce you to someone, with his teachings you should have a good shot at becoming No.1." He continued giving her a thumbs up.
Hearing this she simply nodded before reflexively clutching the hilt of her katana, seemingly in anticipation. Seeing this Arch simply chuckled slightly before turning back to the structure.
In reality Logue Town wasn't that important in the grand scheme of things, and in reality it wasn't worth stopping here from a logical stand point but something had compelled Arch to make the trip here, and he had finally found out what it was.
Cutting his thumb Arch dropped a drop of blood on the ground before the wound quickly closed up. 'You were a great man Gol D. Roger, maybe our perspectives weren't the same but I'll give you that much, so I leave this drop of blood here today. When I surpass you it will be after I've surpassed you and have reached my dream.' Arch pondered before turning around.
"W-Wha, where are we going?" Kuina questioned as she caught up with Arch. "We're going to meet up with the others and head back to the Grand Line. Its time to get serious." He replied, but his face didn't seem to agree with his own words as a huge grin was plastered on his face.
A few minutes later all of the Expedition Team had gathered up, before they headed back to the ship and began sailing back to Tigria.
The others felt a bit rushed by Arch but nonetheless they left swiftly, after all Arch was still their King. "Man, and I was just getting my groove on, I haven't been able to have a good drink in a while now." Bertram sighed as they sailed on the high seas.
Hearing this Curt, Cort, and Ugo couldn't help but nod silently, but they weren't about to outright agree with Bertram in front of Arch. "That's understandable but we've been messing around in the East Blue long enough its about to be a new year." He said gazing at the stars.
Time was running out and Arch knew better than to waste it. 'My first life wasn't anything special, and I want to make the most out of this one but to do that I need strength, not just personal strength, but strong allies and strong financial power, and I've already gained what I needed to over here, its time to go back.'
With that the Expedition Team made it back on Tigria just as the dawn of the new year arose. "Its good to be back." Arch muttered gazing at his Kingdom.
Sorry if the chapter feels a bit choppy and not that good, as you can tell its been a while since I've written a proper chapter. Sorry again for the delay after I made a promise.
Lastly now I am gonna try begin my own original (well original as it can be in a fanfic) story arc I guess? I mean the last 37 chapters haven't really been an arc rather set up I guess along with some plot progression here and there and some character introductions, now I have an actual mini plot planned (not thoroughly planned but planned none the less).
Hopefully it'll go well, I don't know how releases are gonna look like I'll try my best is all I can say.
Thanks for still reading, and till next time cya.
