Write a reviewOnly I Am a Reader is a story about Leo Lock, a boy born with the ability to read books and obtain some of the skills mentioned in them. One day, he was suddenly transported into one of the books he read, and forced to survive until the ending. Overall, a really refreshing infinity-novel. I can't say too much so far, it's a lot slower than your typical infinity-novel, but that arguably makes it better. Hopefully it doesn't fall into the typical pitfalls. Writing quality is above-average, there are still some minor mistakes but everything is readable. (4/5 stars) Story development is pretty good. Both arcs in the first 300 chapters are pretty good, I'm hoping they focus more on the real world after the second arc though. Both stories seem realistic, even if both of them have rather cliché plots. Although it is interesting to see those "cliché plots" get fleshed out more than they normally would. (5/5 stars) The character design I have somewhat mixed feelings about. The characters are good, and most of them are rather 3d. For the most part, they feel like real people. However, due to the fact that the main character is going into novels, there is this ever-present barrier that the author puts around said characters that prevents them from being too fleshed out. Besides that, the main character still hasn't been properly fleshed out, there is a hint of romance at chapter 300, but it is extremely slow. (4/5 stars) World background is great. Obviously, some things are going to remain somewhat unrealistic considering it always has a third-party view on various protagonist's luck. Aside from that, these worlds are fleshed out and make sense, more-so than most infinity novels. (4/5 stars) Overall, novel is pretty great. Unfortunately there's some disconnect with the other worlds that prevent them from being super-great, but that comes along with the genre I suppose. Aside from that, everything is above-average. I give this novel 4.4 stars out of 5.
Now that I have finished the Second Volume with over 400 chaps out, it's time to write a review once again. light spoilers might be included so only read this review if you wanna get a glimpse of what this book is about, otherwise jump into it and try to give it a chance for 5~10 chapters. You might enjoy it if you like novels such as Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Novel's Extra, Author's POV, TCF, Fantasy Simulator, Astral Apostle, 48 Hours a Day, The Protagonists Are Murdered By Me, or Murim novels like Nano Machine or Chronicles of the Heavenly Demon. (specifically the second volume) Anyway, this book tells the story of Leo whose already special reading capacity breaks through reality to place him inside various books that he read, all while hints of mystery are ongoing back on reality. In short words, this is a world hopping novel, also known as an infinity novel, something that I personally enjoy, and would recommend to those who get bored of the same setting in novels after reading a couple hundred chapters. Hope you enjoy this if you decide to read it and feel free to ask any(spoiler free) questions in the comments. - P.S: attached pic is an imagination of one of MC's variations.
Have you started again? Only drawaback was the stopping of the novel for almost a year. Everything else is just top notch.
I lost interest. Some stuff were just not being addressed and it leaves off in a unsatisfied way. The battles and fights were lacking dialogue. Not enough back to back confrontation with enemies and the lack of being on the edge my sit reading, it was really bland. Mc didn’t struggle; barely fighting the majority of what I’ve read and I’m at 137 chapters, too much dialogue and details on skills and books. I feel like what I was reading was good but majority of it was mediocre. it was trying to be really good but it just was lacking to me. And I get attached to characters so when he left the book or world he was in and I know for sure the characters there he was never gonna meet again is kinda sad. But I understand that’s the premise of the novel I expected to dislike that part of this novel when I came to read it. But I was expecting other things to be top notch. 7.5/10. Good luck author it was a decent read.
Good novel. Would recommend. [img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
I'm still in the 2nd volume, but I gotta say, this is great! The system is cool and unique IMO. The MC goes through a bunch of existential crises but still pushes through. I love the way the story goes. Very exciting and intriguing 🤭😊
Peak book. I don’t usually rate but this does what it says it does 100x better than I expect it to. If you read the synopsis and you end up remotely interested then start reading.
Hello author! I would like to ask some questions, if possible, please answer... they are as follows: I would like to know if there is harem in the work, I would like to know if there is ntr or yuri in the work (I hope not), I would also like to know if there would be yanderes among the harem... and the last question, and if the mc really loves the girls, he doesn't just use them and discard them... if you can, please answer!

A unique novel that has many elements and the character design is good but it's simply super focus on protagonist some change pov it will be better but it's great novel to read. Good work 👍
I like world hopping novel specially with defferent power system .This one has everything only problem is protagonist is think too much sometimes not about explanation but negative about future in reality .overall I like novel with new power system as well as no overboard system .author put 'ROLE' instead of "class" system
Reveal Spoilerit's really great novel i only hope it's not a harem and Yeon and Leo can meet again on the future chapters

Let's start from writing quality, there is nothing much to say about it. Write Quality is very good. Then comes story development. Now, this novel is beaten here. Although story is unique in its own and has a very good plot armor, but our MC is living his life in the world of books much more than living his real life. There is zero progress in his original life, but more than 400 chapters are already wasted in the world of books. This is something I don't like.
Not going to lie one of the best stories out there. Has a lot of potential. But because without good writing skills it’ can become redundant so really looking forward to see how the author manages the mcs skill and incorporating it to the main world without it losing touch. Definitely seeing it being up there with. I hate systems, and so on. Mc is smart does do silly things here and there but nothing to take away from the story author fully fleshed it out and makes his actions make sense, you’ll nod your head and say reasonable. Just curious to see where the author takes it overall.

Out of over a hundred web novels that I have previously read, this one is definitely a top tier one. If the novel continues to be of the same quality that it has been for the past 400 or so chapters it definitely has a spot in my top 10.
First of all, I think it's an excellent read, I didn't have high hopes due to the synopsis to be honest but I always tell myself not to judge without reading first. I don't have much to criticize due to the author's good writing, it is true that there are things that feel forced but as long as you read to enjoy and not to criticize, you will enjoy it. What does bother me is the waste of his ability, just thinking about all the abilities that have to do with the mind makes me go crazy as only focusing on simple cold weapons, the physical body is limited, the mind is infinite. In the martial world he had so many opportunities to learn more than just physical things but I'll let it slide considering that in the original world he needs strength quickly to protect himself. I sincerely hope you use your ability for what it is truly made for, MAGE, just thinking about future rune knowledge drives me crazy, if I were in your place knowing that everything I read will be perfectly in my memory, mage would be my first choice, focus on the physical when it is possible that other people have their respective classes in that, will only make you weaker
I loved the first volume 10/10 for me but i hate second volume same amount. It is too long and boring to be fair i did skim trough last 100 chapters because i couldnt bear with it. I hopr next volume will be better.
Sorry for the low score but that is because of the the updates. It is not consistent and it looks like the book will be dropped soon. The book itself is excellent and keeps its integrity, unlike other trash novels still very high on the ranking.
A well written story. Somewhat unique with not too many troupes. world hoping but in a different way. I want to see where this story goes.
Writing quality is great, I don't have to reform the sentences in my head. ***** Updates are prety good(not the "5 updates per 3 days now wait month" style). **** Story seems to come along nicely, not breaking apart every 3 chapters like other novels. ***** Characters feel alive, realistic. ***** Book too small to judge background yet, so **** until expansion. Overall, it's a good read. 4.6 rounds up to 5 btw is this the correct way to do spoilers?
