Life returned to the Sky-Piercing Arena as the Progenitor Sword suspended its 'recall' with the end of its controller. The servants arriving from the castle were busily helping the injured.
The trial survivors were helping around, constantly throwing glances in a certain corner. Their destiny to survive was quite persistent, thanks to a certain someone's quick reaction, the only damage they suffered was the loss of 'progress' to the next grade. At the very least, they maintained their grade.
Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for everyone. Although the army of guards survived, they had completely lost every single 'Breath' in their bodies.
To make it worse, their bodies suffered from extensive internal damage. Whether they would manage to keep the life that they were still hanging to wasn't even certain.
As for the ones that all eyes glanced at, they were in a state of awkward silence that somehow deterred anyone from approaching.
- Here's today's second chapter! Hope you enjoy it! (Check the comments for Arthur Art/Reference)
- End of Volume 1! Hurray! I'm very pleased to announce that the first volume(and the first book) has finally reached its proper conclusion. I know some of you beg to differ, but I did try my best to deliver a decently paced story despite my lacking writing skill. Some parts may be unsatisfactory, but I hope all of the readers who reached this point had an overall good reading experience. I thank you for your precious support so far, and I wish you would continue to support this book as it embarks on its next journey. Thanks everyone! Truly!
- Any form of support whether it be comments, reviews, ps and gifts are all appreciated! On to the next Volume!
