This is a really well-written book that is utterly ruined by needless fluff. The author takes an eternity to make any story progress, and lingers for chapters upon chapters on boring side characters, people who ultimately don't matter. Why waste 10 chapters on a character that the MC will kill anyway? Don't waste your stones on this, it just isn't worth it.

If your looking for the original novel go on mtl all 400+ chapters there. But IMO this is better the MC is original he's a hybrid between human and dragon. He doesn't feel anything when he kills but is very attached to his family Which dragons aren't big on. The novel updates like 1-2 chapters a day depend on you but I consider this ok. The world is pretty generic you got your adventurer's god's dragons and other classic fantasy monsters it's not bad but kinda overdone. After all that the novel is pretty good 4/5.

Just please don't use your brain if you try to read this, you may enjoy it then. Like I don't know what to say even, should I blame the author for the BS they have done or TL for the wrong Translation.
perfect story no non sense about previous life too much behaved like a dragon with human intelligence and good story writing I don't know whether it will change in future but I prefer if he again don't go to human teritory and start hero nonsense instead develop his own dragon clan
Ive read the MTL version and i have to say its one of the only chinese novel i finished.well since it was rushed in the end lmcus author didnt want continue story anymore. Pretty surprised webnovel would translate a rushed ending novel. well enough of that, this is novel is amazing although just by read the titles i can tell translator made so much changes its still one heck of a novel its a must try.
As other reviewers have pointed out, this story nabbed the title and synopsis from 重生红龙:自律就变强 but has a completely different plot from that. There's no "translating" being done here for a Chinese novel of that name. Story itself, while having noticeable inconsistencies, is still decent. I don't particularly dislike the story so far. But the title and synopsis having absolutely no correlation with how the story is progressing is kinda bothersome. Masquerading as a translation of a novel instead of just posting this as an original story seems suspicious.

The synopsis is wrong and rather than a red dragon, the Mc is a yellow dragon. This novel also has several things from other games, anime etc. So it is a part fanfic.
This is an Original story. Not a translated book. The real raw name is "rebirth of the red dragon: self-discipline becomes stronger, 重生红龙：自律就变强" u can find it in mtl.c.o.m The translator copied the synopsis and the title but the plot is completely different. In the real story. The mc does pushups and situps to be stronger. He also has more siblings. Although I'm disappointed by the the "translator's" slight plagiarism, the edited story is pretty decent. so 4/5 stars. minus 1 star for declaring it as a translation. Might as well post this book as an original work.
The translation is quite good, but there are just too many inconsistencies that make it hard to read for me. It seems that there's some kind of contradiction every other chapter, so I will just give it up until the author tidies up the story. If you don't mind the plotholes go ahead and read it, as it IS interesting and I will get back to it if they ever fix the inconsistencies.
I think author like it when MC eats humans..... in every chapter he at least mentions it once about eating humans …. come on move on man... what about other species.... like elf's, orgs, ogres. explain about them too.... when is it going to start when discipline makes him stronger as it is the title.... he is only using system to look at his stats....... its a good novel but from my point of view can be better. thank you
This is a different novel than advertised since he's doing none of the of the aforementioned push-ups or training, plus I read the mtl version of the same name and it's pretty different from this.

The 'system' has yet to perform as advertised. The dragons are clearly taken from D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) with a little scrambling to presumably avoid copyright infringement(?) Still the story is fairly decent and unless someone can point out something like proof of plagiarism (which seems to be on the rise on this site) then I recommend giving it a glance to see if you like it
great start. really looking forward to this book getting new chapters. at 40 chapters right now and while there are a few issues, such as over explaining some situations and saying blue dragons use fire and red use lightening (red dragons are fire dragons, every paleontologist knows this. it is historical fact!), the story is interesting, we'll written, and entertaining

retty good so far. The main character could definitely be considered evil, but the idea is pretty unique and I would definitely wish to see this novel continued. Maybe he will reform the Dragon Race into a more communal race rather than just a group of individuals. Can’t wait for more. THX
It’s a pretty good novel with some stuff I dont like here and there. Im 43 chapters in at this point and the system is still not really playing any major role so not sure why the synopsis is like that, Unless it comes later. Also one pet peeve of mine is the excuse of being in a younger or different body to allow for certain things. like in this novel if you wanted an evil MC just make him evil. Better than other novels where its used to justify pedO stuff though

I really don’t understand why synopsis is different from the story. I mean the system is almost never used expect for the beginning. I would have liked a story with the synopsis to be honest. I mean the story is kinda weird especially the start which made no sense. The world background is the best so far and is actually somewhat fleshed out. Character design I really think it’s just average. The story development is also average. Translation quality uh average for web novel. Updates likely same as other picked stories of two a day which is good.
I like this novel a lot.Also story is good.I like know what will happen future in Mc's life.After reading 40 chapters and the cliffhanger I want more of it.So I hope it gets updated soon in the future.So I giving a five star.

I liked this story but It has a lot of issues the translation or writing quality aren't great and there are a lot of story inconsistencies and just lack of explanation for most everything and you can't even infer most of the information because it seems to be following dnd races/abilities but completely butchered without explanation like how the mc is a red dragon that has its flavour replaced with a blue dragon at the same time it uses some sort of OP power that is barely explained and made useless unless the mc is about to die leaving absolutely no suspense. characters are 1 dimensional and flat with no real character development which can be fine but I have an issue with the fact that the author seems to introduce a new side character that we know is going to die in the next 10 chapters and wastes time fleshing them out as well as breaking the flow of the story. the other side characters seem like they will be important at some point but aren't fleshed out enough to make us care about them or understand why they will be important later other than they hold a position and dont like dragons. over all this story seems like an extremely rough draft and I would like to see it be refined.
