Chapter 93: Escape Trials 4

In that staff room, by a corner, a head rolled on the ground. 

Raiden had cut that zombie's head from its body. He did not fail this time. He neither missed, nor his attack was shallow. Everything was on point. 

The headless corpse of the zombie fell down over Kingslayer. 

Raiden helped him throw away the body from on top of him. 

Kingslayer got free. He was gasping for air. In that short time, his heartbeat had reached its peak. He had just come back from the verge of death. 

He looked at Raiden, who stood tall with his sword in his hands and whose blood had been coloured red. 

Kingslayer wanted to thank Raiden for saving his life but words didn't come out of his mouth. He was still trembling from that terrible experience. 

But, Raiden knew they had no time to waste at all. 

He got closer to Kingslayer and whispered in his ears, "Our time is running out, we gotta find the key and get out of here as soon as possible. So, don't lose your grip."
