Around 12.30 PM that day, Ryley walked out of the building with his head held high. Adrian escorted him to the lobby's door and nodded at him when the blond halted his steps and turned back to look at him for the last time.

Adrian prescribed him a month worth of medicine that could help with the development of the embryo in his womb, to make it stronger and hopefully ready to be transferred next month. 

The light in his eyes were no longer as dim as when he first arrived earlier. Ryley then heaved a deep sigh and continued his steps towards Lucas, who held the car's door and waited for him.
