Dai Chen didn't believe what Song Jia said to him.

He knew that the General had died a long time already. He was even among the people who helped during the funeral rites.

Song Jia's image just now when she showed up was of a young person.

So it was easier for Dai Chen to believe that he was already dead and he was now seeing Song Jia's spirit.

"Dai Chen. Focus on your recovery."

"General–I'm already dead."

"Pfft.." Song Jia chuckled. "Your grandson really takes after you."

Dai Chen's eyes widened. "Grandson?"

"Mn." She nodded. "Take your time. Do what you need to do. Just make it through–else your grandson is going to bawl his eyes out again."

"Which grandson? Do you mean–Xiaobao?"

"Yes." She nodded. "Alright. I'll see you when you wake up. So make sure of it."

And with that, she left his consciousness.
