Chapter 110: Forever

Standing in the middle of the bridge over the pond, Sun Xun placed his hand on her shoulder as they gazed at the view.

"Let's light it up.." Song Jia told him.

"Alright." He nodded.

He held the lantern for her as she wrote her wish on the lantern. It was only two simple words. Happiness and Peace.

She then used her spiritual energy to light the wick inside the lantern. When it was finally lit up, she also held the lantern and together they let the wind take it.

Song Jia stared at the night sky where her lantern joined the others.

On the pond, there were people placing a lotus with a candle in the middle and let it float on the pond.

"Would you like to do that?" Sun Xun followed her gaze and saw her interest.

"Uh.. no, it's okay. We just lit the lantern."

However, her gaze would still stray towards it so Sun Xun held her hand and walked away from the bridge, stopping in front of the seller of the lotus flowers.
