Chapter 69: Suppressed

Earlier when Song Jia went out of the private room, Sun Xun had opened the conversation for them.

"General Song Qing, Master Song Xia, Master Song Huo..I have something to say."

"Ah.. Please do." General Song Qing spoke as the three of them set their chopsticks down.

"I have expressed my intention to Jia as her suitor." He looked at the three older men confidently.

It took them a minute to digest what he had just told them.

"This.." Song Xia began. His hand shook slightly. He had that intention back at the residence. But he didn't think that the two's relationship had progressed this fast.

Song Huo and General Song Qing remained quiet since the father hasn't expressed himself yet.

"May I know if--" He felt awkward to inquire more. He wanted to make sure that Sun Xun really had feelings for Song Jia and not because he said something back at the residence. But this was Master Sun after all. He still has to be on his toes.
