Chapter 44: Similitude

Zia found herself alone in a large, quiet room. Why did she always seemed to end up in trouble and all alone? She began to wonder if she was really a troublemaker. What was it about her that irritated people so? How could everyone want to lock her up all the time. She didn't do anything to be locked away. She wondered if she even belonged in this world if so many people hated her.

Sitting in a chair by the window of the Victorian style room, she glanced around as her eyes scanned the entire space. At least it's not a dungeon. She thought. The room was actually quite nice. There was a very large bed with a wooden framed canopy and large, heavy curtains, draped over ever window in the room.
