Rayan was in the garden with his mother when he spoke to Janet over the phone. When he hung up, his mother asked him how Janet was.
"Getting worse day by day." He said, and he looked up at Jasmine's room and said, "And the snake upstairs does not bother to visit her mother."
"Don't talk bad about your wife. You and Janet are not innocent either." Melody answered.
"Mom, I hate how you always defend her," Rayan said.
"She is a victim. She is acting this way with Janet because she was hurt. You never tried to accept her in your life." Melody said.
"Please stop it, mom. Stop blaming me for everything. I managed to like Janet, the reason for my misery, and I cannot stand Jasmine. She never tried to sound loveable." Rayan said.
Melody did not like what her son said, and she said, "I know one thing. This is not a life suitable for humans. Either leave her or accept her the way she is. Don't think about yourself only."
