Chapter 118: Bad Tidings

  Lycano drew in a deep breath before heaving out a heavy sigh. 

'Who could be the culprit behind this? What does he have against me?' he thought as he gazed up at the prison cell where he was wrongfully imprisoned. 

He didn't know if it was already night. Or it was still day. The place has no windows to tell him the time.

Even the noise of the morning birds or the wild bats at night could not be heard from where he was.

  Just as he was about to sleep again, which was the only thing that he could do at that moment, someone came to visit him.

"How are you, my lord?" Lord Varo greeted him. 

  He was a little suspicious as he looked at both his left and right, wondering if someone might see him visiting the Lord of the Lycus Clan.

  A glimmer of hope stirred up in Lycano's heart. Lord Varo is his ally. Perhaps he could help him.
