Chapter 3: The Radio Demon
Charlie began heading towards the door and all to familiar scene played out right before my eyes.
"Hel-"
Charlie then opend the door again after shutting it.
"lo."
Charlie looked nervous and looked towards me and vaggie.
"Vaggie, Mephisto, the radio demons at the door."
"Well don't answer it!"
I walked up to Charlie and have her hug and a reassuring look.
Charlie blushed a bit but already seemed to be in a better state.
"Everything will be ok Charlie I'm here for you, and I will absolutely make sure nothing bad happens. Ok?"
"Ok, Thanks Mephisto I needed to hear that."
I proceeded to disapear right into Charlie's shadow that now had two glowing red eyes staring at her back until they disappeared aswell.
"Mephisto are you in my shadow?"
I then manipulated the shadows on the wall into the words Yes, I don't wish to start any unnecessary drama; but I will intervene if Alastor tries anything.
I watched as the events from the show unfolded, Alastor song his reprise on Charlie's song.
"You have a dream,
You wish to tell,
And it's just laughable
But, hey kid, what the hell?"
"Cause you're one of a kind,
A charming demon belle!
Now, let's give these burning fools a place to dwell
Take it, boys!"
A bunch of shadows began to play instruments as Alastor continued to dance and sing. I wished it was me to an extent but I know it's for the best I'll wait a little bit before appearing afterall I don't know how he will react.
"Inside of every demon is a lost cause
But we'll dress them up for now with just a smile
Wicked smiles~!"
Alastor already had changed everyone's outfits, and continued with his dance kicking something on the ground and the proceeded dancing whole singing. Changing the colors of things to neon and changing other things around him.
"And we'll chlorinate this cesspool
With some old redemption flair
And show these simpletons some proper class and style"
"Class and Style!"
The shadows all sung out.
"Here below the ground,
I'm sure your plan is sound
They'll spend a little time
Down at this Hazbin Ho-!"
Everything was just so surreal listening to the beat of the music, seeing the same colors as I saw before on the show and the smiles of everyone it was just so different yet familiar.
The very same explosion that interrupted the song originally interrupted it again, interrupting my inner monologue. I was extraordinarily annoyed this time
I hated being interrupted the most besides liars and deceivers.
And it was all because of my life before becoming a demon, I was uses to not being interrupted or else I killed the person. I was feared and respected while being a mafia boss and the same could be said hear when people recognized me. But what I always hated was double crossers and liars dirty actions such as these always disgusted me; it even cost me my life one day.
As everyone exited to see the commotion sir Pentious revealed him self and slowly I came out of Charlie's shadow. Sporting a malicious grin and glint in my eyes staring down at the snake.
He began to quivering in fear as soon as he saw me, I then proceeded to drag my thumb across my throat and pointed at him, mouthing hurt her and your dead as I then pointed at Charlie. And he nodded hastily everyone was confused at first then he continued on what he was saying.
While I just darkly smiled watching him tremble in fear, and watched him switch back to anger.
"Hello Alastor, I see your harboring that whore. It seems I'll have to show you the true power of my technology."
The snake then looked towards me with his anger he looked indecisive for a second but seemed to resolve himself.
"I won't be listening to you no more.."
Before Alastor could do anything or before sir pentious finished his sentence. My face darkened only for a moment and a dark barbed tentacle impaled him through the stomach.
"Listen Sir Pentious, Charlie has had a bad day and I don't want you ruining it further. Now..."
My glowed in a eery crimson light my teeth sharpened further, as I gave him a dark smile.
"Now you can either leave peacefully or I might have to personally escort you out of here. Or better yet I'll let the radio demon here have you; he's not as merciful as I am. So what will it be leave on your own or get some assistance."
Everyone looked behind Charlie even Charlie herself the only ones not currently suprised by his appearance were Charlie and Sir Pentious; Even Alastor raised an eyebrow.
"I'll leave, yes I'll leave right away."
Sir Pentious's machine quickly flew away not wanting to stay around me for a second longer.
"Well who wants Jambalaya, my mother made the best jambalaya it was to die for."
Alastor spoke out as everyone walked back but Charlie lagged behind a bit intending to talk with me. I could just tell after the years we spent together.
