Chapter 58: V.1-C.58│The War Wages II│
In Konoha, Mei Terumi didn't have much to do, other than just to sit around and do nothing. It wasn't like she isn't allowed to do anything, like participate in a minor manner within this conflict.
She also understands that staying out of the conflict would be for the best, as anything she would do could be reported back towards Kirigakure. She still wanted to be within the good grace of the village at least somewhat, as she will have to return sooner rather than later.
Though... she would've liked to go along with Obito to meet the legendary princess of Konohagakure, Tsunade Senju.
She had gotten out of bed today with a purpose. A purpose that involved finally changing up her looks, and given the way she has developed thus far, she wanted to start changing to better make herself much more pretty.
Why wouldn't she do this? She is sure that she would start to be able to put some proper moves down on Obito, given that he is dense.
She has tested this herself, and has done a lot of things that would be suggestive in most context, but he didn't seem to be interested, or he just didn't know what she did was mean to be an act of her feelings.
So, she would wait for him to come back so that she may surprise him with her new look that she is hoping to pull off.
As she was thinking of these things, she didn't notice what the time was and upon seeing that it was a little bit later than what she expected, she got up and got changed fast enough so that she may go into Konoha's main shopping district.
She didn't have anyone to go with, given that there aren't that many that would like to befriend a foreign shinobi. Not that many of the people knew that she is a foreign shinobi anyway, but it was more like she didn't want to be found out.
Also, Kushina and Obito would be taking responsibility for her actions, so if she did do something that got herself into trouble, then she would be getting those two into trouble as well.
She didn't want to get them in trouble, especially not Obito given that Kushina seemed to like getting into trouble sometimes with those pranks she pulls off against people.
Being the taller than average girl she was, currently Mei stood at a height of 155 centimeters and she is only 13 years old, just like Obito and Rin. Kurenai on the other hand is a whole year older, meaning that she is currently fourteen and Mei could see that some growth had happened.
Herself and others were starting to come into themselves some more, developing and getting rid of some of that baby fat that persists throughout ones childhood up until a certain point. 'Heh. All of my fat has gone towards another area. I'm almost certain that Obito would appreciate such things.' Mei thought to herself as she looked at said area.
Let's just say that a few years of developing lead to her growing her 'assets' and in more places than just her chest area. 'Not that it would be overly that helpful in anything else, besides seducing Obito that is...' Mei thought to herself before getting changed into some comfortable clothing.
She was currently home alone, a home that Kushina and Mikoto and Obito all stayed within, alongside herself. Kurenai and Rin of course still had their own families that they could go back to, and she had heard from both that neither two of their parents are shinobi.
Strange since most shinobi become shinobi because a family member, or more specifically a parent is a shinobi.
Kushina had gone with Obito get said Legendary Sannin, Tsunade, back to Konoha to train both himself and Rin. Kurenai followed off after Mikoto to go on their own missions, and given that Kurenai is currently getting most of her training from Mikoto, it made sense.
Kushina didn't seem to mind as well, and encouraged it. From what Mei understood, Mikoto would also soon be surpassed by Kurenai when it comes to genjutsu, simply because Mikoto's genjutsu potential is not as strong as Kurenai's.
It may also seem sad to leave her by herself here, but who said you have to be by someone's side everyday, every hour, every minute. That would just be too much, right? All she knows is that she wouldn't enjoy spending time with Obito all of the time, but would be comfortable staying in his presence.
Confusing, yes, but it made sense to her. She didn't necessarily want to talk with him or the time, or do things with him all the time. She just wanted to be there, and that's it.
She thought that was enough, for now. Kurenai and Rin wouldn't be making any moves on him anytime soon, but Mei is definitely suspicious of Kushina... She didn't even think that Mikoto would be in the same situation as the all of them, simply because Mei hadn't seen the same things from Mikoto as she has the others.
Especially Kushina, who has taken it upon herself to 'cockblock' all of the girls by essentially hogging Obito to herself as much as possible.
Walking into town, Mei kept to herself and while she may have received an odd look every now and then because she looks a bit different from the average person. No doubt she also gets those looks because she is also good looking, but she largely remained by herself.
She was also kind of taller than most boys her age, with a few exceptions, like Obito. Going into the stores that she was going into, she managed to start getting things that she would think would best suit her new style she is going for.
Gone would the pink be, and in would come another color. Along the way, she would see a person that she wasn't expecting. "Kurenai...?" She had thought that the girl was on a mission.
"Mei...?" Kurenai responded, her unique red eyes looked into Mei's green.
"Weren't you and Mikoto on a mission?" By this point, just like Obito, Mei and the rest of the girls had stopped referring to the older girls as an older sister. It was much better this way, and it was also because they are much closer than before.
"Yeah, we just got back..." Kurenai looked at her packages. "I see that you have gone shopping..." Kurenai narrowed her eyes as she said this, while Mei also identified that Kurenai had been out going for some clothing as well.
"I see that you have done so as well." Mei narrowed her eyes at Kurenai in suspicion.
"Yes, that is right. I wonder why you are buying some new clothes..." Kurenai looked at Mei with suspicion as well.
"How about we go back to Obito's house, and we both get changed and show off each others outfits..." Mei wanted to check Kurenai out for more than just some friendly feedback.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Kurenai replied, before the two would start hastily walking towards the Uchiha district, and while far away from the main parts of the village, it wouldn't tire them out so easily.
They had done too much training to be tired by such things.
Soon arriving back towards the place, the two would go into separate rooms and get changed, fully equipping their new outfits that had decided to wear for the future.
Kurenai got changed first and came out first with her own outfit.
Mei came out second and the two girls regarded each others appearance, and the two of them may have, or may have not compared each other.
Mei's hair had grown, becoming ankle-length, styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a top-knot tied with a dark blue band, and with four bangs at the front. Two bangs are short, with one covering her right eye, and two are long, crossing each other on her bust, just below her chin.
She wears a long-sleeved, dark blue dress that falls just below the knees. It seems to be closed at the front with a zipper, and is kept open on the front-right side from the waist down. The dress only covers up to the upper part of her arms and the underside of her breasts.
Underneath, she wears a mesh armor that covers slightly more of her upper body than her dress. She also wears a skirt in the same color as her dress and, underneath those, mesh leggings reaching down over her knees.
Around her waist, she wears a belt with a pouch attached to the back on the left along with high-heeled sandals, shin-guards reaching up over her knees, dark blue nail polish on her fingers and toes, and is usually shown with purple lipstick.
If Obito was to see Mei now, he would equate it with the appearance of her future self. The real only difference is that she was doing this look specifically for him, and did it with the intent purpose of matching with Obito's looks.
Kurenai on the other hand did the opposite kind of color design from Mei, with her long black untamed hair reaching her upper back.
She is currently wearing make-up consisting of red lipstick and purple eye shadow. Her regular outfit consists of a red mesh armor blouse with only the right sleeve visible.
Overall, this is very broad material which resembles bandages with a pattern on it similar to those of rose thorns. Her hands and upper thighs are also wrapped in bandages and she wears the Konoha forehead protector and regular shinobi sandals.
Kurenai at first would've just used the standard Konoha outfit before coming to a decision to change her outfit into what she is wearing now, but she wanted to be in line with Obito.
"I see that we have the opposite colors..." Mei said as she pointed out the fact that Kurenai had a white and red look, while Mei has a blue and black look.
"Yes..." Kurenai replied, before deciding to just get to the point of their little feud between each other that really wasn't anything serious, but at the same time it is. Sighing, Kurenai says. "Look, you know that I know that we both know that we are both... interested in a person."
"Yes..." Mei replied, surprisingly being able to understand what she just said.
"I am-..." Kurenai was struggling a bit to come up with the rather ridiculous things she was about to say. "I am..."
"You... are...?" Mei was not sure where this was going.
"We can..." This conversation would be something for a later date.

"Marriage..." Obito was unsure if this was wise, but then again. 'She should lose just like she always does... I think?' Obito thought to himself as he looked straight into Tsunade's eyes. 'Would I be hurting Percy Sage's feelings if I agreed...?' He wondered, not knowing if what he was about to say would be the right thing. "Ok."
Smiling, rather seductively, Tsunade got up. "Good... good..."
"Lady Tsunade, I don't think-" Shizune tried to put a stop to this ridiculous situation, but Tsunade didn't seem to want to give.
"Shush now, Shizune. Let the adults talk." Tsunade moved towards Obito whom had come into her temporary residence and decided that she should check out the good first before she tried to do anything with him.
Sure, he seemed to be capable enough to track her down, and certainly being someone that was brave enough to confront her was attractive, but she wanted to know his 'physical' qualifications.
"But Lady Tsunade, he isn't-" Shizune tried to explain that Obito wasn't exactly an adult of around her age.
Tsunade just raised her hand to stop Shizune from talking, and was instead face to face and noticed that Obito wasn't quite as tall as she thought that he would be. "Hmm... you aren't quite tall now, are you..." Sure, he was taller than herself, but he wasn't so tall in comparison to herself.
It was almost as if he hasn't gone through a full on growth spurt, and was still in development or something. "Well, that doesn't matter, you are taller than me and that should be good enough." Tsunade didn't have much requirements for height.
Instead, she in a straight forward manner reached out towards his arms, and grasped onto his arms. She started to feel him up, and Obito gave her a strange look. "What? Haven't been touched before like this?"
"Er... not exactly..." Obito was a little bit embarrassed by this situation.
Laughing, Tsunade smiled as she replied. "Don't worry. I haven't either. We can both have our first time like this. I think it should be a good thing." Tsunade felt a bit more comfortable knowing this factor.
The thing was, Obito wasn't touched like this in this life, but he may or may have not gotten a little bit of action in his previous life. 'I blame Pervy Sage...'
Tsunade moved onto touched him all over, which was extremely strange, but at the same time Tsunade wasn't as embarrassed as Obito was. Tsunade has had to deal with gruesome and disgusting situations when being a doctor.
In fact, most doctors have a high tolerance to the more kinky stuff, given that their jobs have them doing all kinds of things. So of course, Tsunade didn't feel uncomfortable as she gave him a thorough 'medical' examination.
"Right, that should be it. I can check your other 'goods' later, but I'm satisfied for now." Tsunade nodded her head as she said this, still tipsy from having had some drinks. "We should get on with our gamble now."
Tsunade proposed this situation thinking that she would win, given that she has full control of the situation. It was different from most gambling situations she usually gets herself into. "Ok." Obito nodded his head with maybe a small blush on his cheeks while Shizune in the background was looking away from the indecent display.
Of course, she would sneak a glance every now and then to see what those two were doing right in front of her. She could admit that Obito was... somewhat handsome.
"Given that you proposed the challenge, that must mean that I get to chose the game, right?" Tsunade smiled a bit deviously.
Obito himself didn't have a good feeling about this. "Sure..." Or one could say that he did have a good feeling, in his lower area as he wanted to do some not so innocent things. 'I mean, sure she is younger, and hot, and I am a young and hot-blooded individual... Ok, maybe it wouldn't be too bad to marry Tsunade, but then again...'
Obito had very little resistance at this point, and having to live with women that he not only feels strongly about around him, but they are also good looking may have made him a bit... unreleased.
"Good, then let's begin..."
