I tried to act normal around everyone, but I was finding it hard to even follow a conversation. I did not feel present at all and all I could think about was Edward's warm hand in mine. This morning when we woke up I wondered if it would be the last time I would feel his warm breath against my skin as I stirred awake. I wondered if it would the last time we would share a shower together and feel his fresh minty lips against mine. 

To be engulfed in his lavender scent was something I always loved the most and it worried me to think that I might not get that opportunity again. He constantly reassured me he would be alright, but how could I trust that when he told me things could not always go to plan. I did not even know what the plan was, but from what I had picked up Vlad, Marco and Yavok knew. Yavok from what I saw was not happy about it. He probably knew whatever their plan was it would hurt me just as much as it would hurt Edward.
