"Selena? Honey?" I called out as I walked down the stairs of my penthouse. It was Friday morning and the brutal British winter had me dressed head to toe in my black night wear. It was strange to wake up without your partner next to you, but with Selena that had become a norm pretty quickly. 

"Kitchen," she called out softly. A small smile formed on my face as I walked towards her. Selena had graduated from culinary school a few months prior to us meeting. She had a pure talent when it came to cooking.
