“Because yours are still back down there with the last piece of your soul,” Iola told her. "The art of changing your clothing is a gift from the Gods when you cross over."

Neivayka’s jaw dropped in horror. “No!”

“Seek them out,” Iola instructed her.

Neivayka closed her eyes and searched for her power, realizing with a growing fear that Iola was right. Her eyes flung open in a panic and pinned Iola.

“That… that means that thing can use my powers!” Neivayka shouted.

“Lorimer! Lorimer can use my powers!”

Iola looked away, slightly ashamed.

“This will change once we get you back, I promise,” Iola swore. “But, until then, you must learn how to use them.”

“The Song!” Neivayka shouted suddenly. “With that, everyone in all the worlds will fall at his feet with a single word!”
