Chapter 122: Chapter 122: All the Time in the World, Part 2

Katya's House, New Year's Day, Friday, 2037

Katya woke up first. The younger guests left a little after midnight, and once they were gone, she had popped open some vintage champagne. The party had been fun, and she received many great birthday gifts.

She looked at who was left in her special time-traveling room. There was Cyrus who was sleeping right in the middle of the floor on a blanket, Lesley without Harold and over in the corner was Cathy, cradled in Thomas's arms and sleeping with her head on his chest.

"How interesting!" Katya said to herself.

The television test pattern was emitting an annoying tone, so Katya went over and switched it off. She looked out the window at her street in 1979.

"It's a nice looking dawn," she thought, but the last word made her sad for some reason. She walked out of the room and back into real time. It was dawn there as well and a new year.
