Ross had never felt so scared in his life, even after basic training had supposedly inured him to face dangerous situations with a calm, cool perspective. How do you stay calm and cool, he theorized, when most of your ear and all of your fingers are about to be lopped off by a crazed butler, and now you have said henchman and his wily boss trapped under a bear skin?

He did the only thing he could in this situation, obviously not covered in the official agency manual. He kneed Gaston right in the balls. Even with the bear's thick coat of fur between them, the man still felt the full effect of the agent's knee, groaned and toppled back again. Ross took the opportunity to run like hell out of the room.

As he approached the front doors, he heard Parrish chastise his servant in a high pitched whine. "Get off me you fool! You idiot! They're getting away!"
