That evening, they dined at a popular ristorante, on pasta and langoustine, and washed down with a bottle of D'Aquino Moscato. Allie wore the silk dress Ross insisted that she buy on their shopping trip, a shimmering crimson kerchief dress, its halter bodice cut low in back, and paired with strappy sandals and a black fringed shawl. After they left the restaurant, he told her she looked incredible, stunning.

"You're just saying that to get me into bed." Walking along the now, arm-in-arm, she pulled coyly away. When Ross tugged her back, she gave him a playful pat.

He knew he had been grinning all evening. "I'd say we have rather a nice cozy bed compared to the other night. You know, I still think I have bits of straw in my hair, not to mention other parts of my body...which shall remain unmentionable."
