Chapter 126: How to Dissipate a Curse

Requiem's announcement stunned everyone.

Artemis rounded upon him. "What do you mean?" she demanded. "Noir absorbed part of the curse from Solis, didn't he?"

"He did," Aria said firmly. "We all saw it."

Requiem nodded. "He had some of the curse's energy on him until yesterday," he said. "But it's gone now."

"Gone? How can it be gone?" Noir exclaimed. "Don't tell me – has it gone back to Solis?!" He grabbed Solis's arm, and all colour drained from his beautiful face.

Requiem scanned Solis and shook his head. "It hasn't gone back to Solis," he said. "In fact, the curse on Solis has dissipated a little as well."

Tygr stepped forward and grabbed Solis's hand with one hand and Noir's hand with the other. He quickly sent a strand of his own energy into the two young men to check the status of the curse.

Anthem, Melody and Aria also surrounded Solis and Noir, scanning the young couple for themselves as well.
