Chapter 28: 28. Normal day..2
Wanda seemed a tad bit tired after her release so took her to her room and let her sleep in for the morning while I had to change my shirt.
However as soon as I changed my shirt a portal opened and in walked the ancient one before passing me a packet of papers. "You'll be needing these soon." she says with a smile.
"Uh thanks?" I open up the envelope and read through it much to my confusion. "King of Ragnarok?"
"Papers that state you own your own kingdom, I figured you would name Atlantis something different and I know how you like to mess with people so I went with Ragnarok." She says with a smirk.
"Okay and this is for?" I ask in confusion.
"Diplomatic immunity, you are also no longer an American citizen. You are Ragnarok royalty." She says as I read over the paperwork. "Also now you can start your own businesses, off American soil and hidden away. This allows you to explain things like ohhh. 10,000 pounds of gold to the IRS."
"Ah shit."
"Ah shit indeed." She smiles. "Also..."
*Ding Dong!*
I look towards the window and see a bunch of black SUV parked outside, I also turn and see the ancient one completely gone.
"Dammit!"
I put the papers back inside the envelope and walk out of my room.
Sure enough down in the living room there was a red haird woman I wanted to see yet did not want to see. She was talking to Xavier, however as soon as I walked in they both turned to me.
"Ah Ryan, this is Miss Rushman from the IRS apparently she wanted to speak with you?" Xavier says looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
Really? Rushman? You think you can lie in a house that has Telepaths? That's the fucking Black Widow, Natasha.
"Well then I'll get out of your way as I'm sure this is a private matter." Xavier says before scooting off.
I just shake my head before looking at ths spy who is eyeing me critically. Now how should I handle this?
"Mr.Grim recently you've come into a startling amount of funds overnight. Some 178 million?" She says pushing up her fake glasses and looking at her tablet.
Honestly she looked like a picture perfect business woman in a suit dress and everything.
No way in hell the government acts so quickly. Well I guess there is money involved so someone would be interested trying to make a quick buck.
I just sigh before holding out the envelope under my arm.
She raises an eyebrow curiously before opening the envelope and looking at the paperwork with a frown.
"I see." She says handing the paperwork back.
"I'm sure you do. Now sit Miss Rushman and let's have an actual conversation without the bullshit eh?" I wave towards the chair as i plop down on the couch.
"Excuse me?" She fakes confusion.
"Black widow, aka Natasha Romanoff. Spy for shield I believe." I say calmly as she tenses instantly. "Relax, I just want you to inform some of your higher up about something and possibly make a deal."
"Okay." She says taking off her glasses and listening closely.
"First off, yesterday evening I personally killed Magneto, along with some if his cronies namely Sabertooth and someone named Pyro." I pull out the helmet which actually still has blood on it as her eyes widen.
Magneto Is a high class terrorist they have loads of trouble with, simply because metal weapons dont work, he can fly, and nobody knows where he located.
"Do you have any more proof?" She asks.
"No I disposed of the bodies, in a more permanent fashion, as I know cloning is a thing and wouldnt want either sabertooth or magneto to be cloned in the future." I explain taking back the helmet.
"May I ask where they were located?" She asks calmly.
"Nope." I smile popping the P.
"You know you can't claim a reward with the wanted list without a body." She says with a frown.
"Do I look like I'm interested in the reward? You just came in here because I got 178 million dollars overnight. What's a couple million going to do for me?" I chuckle.
"Alright then may I ask where this kingdom of yours is?" She asks wanting more information about this new variable to give to her boss.
"Sure." I hold out my hand towards her.
She just stares at it.
"You need to touch my hand." I say with a sigh.
She does and we both vanish into the city.
"Welcome to Ragnarok, formerly the lost city of Atlantis." I say towards the red head who had already let go and was in a combat stance.
"How did we get here?" She asks warily looking around.
"I brought us here." I shrug. "I'd have to show it eventually since its already registered in multiple governments."
"Doesn't look like much." She says casually scanning the area.
"Yeah, I just recently got it so it hasn't been used in a couple of thousand years or so." I agree.
I use my magnetic powers to scan her body, she has some listening devices and recorders on her.
I raise my hand before leaning over and writing a message in the dirt.
"Shield infiltrated, Hydra, Be wary, only tell Fury." I look at her to see if she understands and she nods.
I hold out my hand again after erasing the message with my foot. Not a bad idea to warn the man ahead of time.
"Well I suppose that concludes our business today." I say calmly before she nods and picks up her glasses and heads for the front door.
"We will be in contact soon Mr.Grim." She says before leaving.
As soon as she is gone I frown heavily, honestly I wasn't expecting shield to react so fast, something must have grabbed thier attention because I doubt it was just money.
Seems I'll have to get some living quarters up in Ragnarok rather fast, I'm not worried about my safety, however Wanda and the others.
As for why I told them about Magneto? A threat, and a warning.
