Chapter 26: 26. Atlantis.
A quick activation of the air purification magic caused a large woosh of air in the sky as the runes lit up the area. I could feel a bit of a drain on my body as the magic activated.
Another activation of the day time runes and the entire sky lit up shining over the once glorious city.
Now however after who knows how many years of neglect it was just a run down ruin, there weren't even any trees or grass alive.
Most of the buildings had collapsed and from what I could see inside they didnt contain anything at all.
"Seems that everything was taken out when they no longer needed to use it as a fortress or whatever." I look around a bit more shifting some broken stones away from buildings.
"Atleast I can demolish the buildings without worrying about destroying anything of value." I push on a wall of the building lightly and it kind of just crumbles and collapses.
A large grin splits my face. Now I have something to fucking do at night besides read.
Of course I'll get some books on carpentry and maybe some on greenhouses and farming. Also I need to go over some more runes and probably find the broken areas after I examine this massive area. So maybe I'll still be stuck reading but ah well.
For now I dont really have the tools to measure that shit. Also this place doesnt have power and where the hell does the water come from?
A bit of information is pushed into my mind, apparently I can absorb water from large bodies of water and there are tanks underground that store water. It can also be absorbed and made magically. As for how large the island is apparently its 10,000 square miles or about the size of Hawaii. But there is an underground layer of the fortress so there is more living space.
"Neat. However I'll probably have to clean up down there as well." I shrug. "Are there any clean up magics or something like repair runes?"
Sadly there wasnt any response from the master rune so I doubt it.
This would be an absolutely massive fuckin project.
For now however i exit the city and hop onto my phone and start looking up information.
I would also need to find a place to dump all the rubble, my spatial ring is pretty much full from that meteor.
Sure I could take it out, but still I need a place to throw all the rocks and shit they cant just stay in Atlantis or my ring and take up space.
I could use it as a training ground for the minions though, tear down buildings with thier powers and clear land. Yeah that seems feasible, lance and blob could destroy buildings, Toad and Quicksilved could pile rocks. The Deku workout. Maybe make them crush stones with sledge hammers? Good stuff.
There was a knock on my door.
Hmm?
"Yes?" I call out and the door opens.
In walks Jean.
"What's up?" I ask the red head curiously.
"I just couldn't sleep and wanted to talk." She says pushing my door closed.
"Okay sure. What's on your mind?" I ask clicking my phone and stuffing it in my pocket.
"Are you really not upset with me about what happened?" She asks with worry.
"The pheonix thing? Honestly I was at first, but then I was like why should I be mad if you guys know? I was just disappointed that you went behind my back and took my secrets and mostly because you blurted them out with others in the room. That was foolish." I explain. "I mean it's not like you guys are a threat to me, and If you did spread it around I'm sure you would cause problems, but I doubt many would believe you anyway. For those who did try to cause problems I doubt they could do much to me. You probably already know I have access to everyone's powers, I can teleport, run at near light speed, phase through objects, have super human strength and even more abilities. It would take a massive force to be able to pin me down and pose a threat."
She nods. "If it counts for anything I really am sorry."
"I said it was fine and I meant it okay? But it's not going to be fine If you keep saying sorry." I laugh.
She smiles finally and relaxes.
"So what were you doing before I came in?" She asked curiously.
"Thinking about what to do with Atlantis, recently I became the owner." I smile cheekily at her.
She looks shocked before smiling. "If you dont want to tell me you dont have too." She says.
"Really I tell you the truth and you dont believe it? See what I mean about those secrets." i laugh before grabbing her hand and we both appear in Atlantis.
"Welcome to Jurrasic Park....err Atlantis!" I wave my hand.
She looks around in awe for a couple of minutes.
"This is Atlantis?" She asks.
"Yep not much now but I'll make it better later on." I smile happily before putting my hand on her shoulder and appearing back in my bedroom. "However you should probably head to bed after all we have school in the morning."
She pouts at me. "You didnt even let me explore!"
I smirk before lifting her chin and giving her a deep kiss much to her shock before she gladly reciprocated with a moan.
"There now you know I've forgiven you, now get to bed."
She just bites her lip and looks at me lustily.
I smile and shake my head before floating her out of my bedroom with a grin. "Doesnt mean I'm just going to give it to you. This seems more like a proper punishment for a girl like you." I give her a psychic slap on the ass then close the door in her face evily ignoring the disappointed moan.
