Chapter 19: Reaching Kumo
Two days passed, they could now reach Kumo in less than a day.
Within those two days, Pakura and Yama became a little more comfortable with each other, and Friday and Pakura became much closer.
Since they were on a ship, Friday had nothing to do, he was bored and wanted attention and Pakura was there to give him attention. She thought Friday was cute and wanted to pet him all day and Friday wanted to be petted all day, so they became an inseparable duo.
Pakura was in the room petting Friday and someone knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Yama entered the room with food for three of them.
"You're a bad influence on my dog. Now he will become even more demanding and lazy."
"Look at this cute little fluffy ball, he can be as demanding as he wants when he's cute."
*wuff woof* Friday indicated his approval of her by barking.
He handed both Friday and Pakura their food.
"We will reach Kumo within a day."
Pakura got a little sad. "One day, huh, so we'll go our separate ways after one day."
"Not really, it depends on what you want to do, if you want to follow us, you can."
Pakura hadn't thought of that. Now she was starting to think about it hard. Friday was also excited about the idea of Pakura following them, so he happily started wagging his tail and tugging on Pakura's clothes a bit to tell her to follow them.
"Your relationship with Konoha might be affected if I follow you. I don't think they'll like it if I follow you."
"You don't even know what my relationship is with Konoha, I was born in Konoha and have few friends and family in Konoha. I don't work for Konoha, I don't owe them anything and I don't belong to them.

Those were some bold words coming from him, but Pakura knew he had the strength to say those words.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to follow you. I don't belong to Suna anymore and you warned me not to go after Kiri and I think they already got their punishment so I have nothing to do but if I follow you I can pet this fluffy ball all day." Pakura said as she started petting Friday.
"I already regret inviting you." Said Yama jokingly.
A day went by.
They just reached Kumo and the crew members were in the process of docking the ship. For the crew members of this ship, the last few days had been stressful, though Yama didn't force them to do anything except cook and sail. The constant threat of death would be stressful for anyone.
Yama, Friday, and Pakura were about to leave the ship. The crew members were very happy that they were about to leave the ship, but Yama turned to look at them.
"Who is the captain of the ship?"
Their hearts were pounding, they just wanted the three of them to leave them alone, but it looked like Yama had other plans. No one answered Yama's question.
"I said, who is the captain of this ship?" Yama said while releasing a bit of his conqueror haki."
A tall and fat guy stepped forward.
"I am the captain."
"How much does it usually take you to get someone from Kiri to Kumo?"
The captain was a little surprised, he hadn't expected that question.
"We usually charge 50,000 ryo," the captain said truthfully.
Yama nodded and took out a bag containing 100,000 ryo and tossed it to the captain.
"It contains 100,000 ryo, take it and treat your crew well."
No one had expected Yama to be so generous. The captain bowed deeply and began to thank him. He waved him off and left the ship with Pakura and Friday.
"I didn't expect you to be so kind."
"I may be a bit self-centered at times, and I like to abuse my power and bully people from time to time, but I'm not too cruel."
"So fierce Zoro has a friendly side too, that's good to know."
"Yama is my real name, as of now Zoro is dead, I used the name Zoro to hide my true age and identity because I was weak, but I don't need to do that anymore."
"So where do we go now, Yama?"
"To Konoha's base, we're going to meet up with Jiraiya."
A few hours passed.
Yama tried to think about what was happening in this war.
'Obito is probably 'dead' now and Kakashi should have received his sharingan, Minato should also be with them at this time, which means he's near Iwa. Once the bridge is destroyed, he'll probably head towards Kumo.
' Soon Rin will also be kidnapped by Kiri or Madara to be more specific, and he will be more active towards Kiri and Iwa, so Kumo is safe. I don't want to mess with Madara yet, that bastard is a freak of nature. So Rin will have to die, I can't save her.''
'Getting the 3rd tail is very tempting, if I get the 3rd tail I won't have to worry about my chakra, but once again I won't make a move to anger Madara.'
Three kunai landed in front of Yama, Pakura, and Friday. Yama immediately stopped all his thought processes, activated his observation haki, closed both eyes, and kept interrupting his chakra flow to make sure he wasn't caught in some genjutsu.
"Stop right there and tell me the reason you came, Pakura."
A small brown haired man, followed by a few leaf shinobi, arrived in front of them.
"Wicked eyes Fugaku." muttered Pakura.
She looked to Yama and saw that he had his eyes closed, and she realized that she had already made a mistake.
