Chapter 9: Hail to the King

A large piece of his sandwich slowly slid out the end of it, slapping against the plate he was using. Oliver slowly set his sandwich down and leaned back, his eyes closing. ''How many were present at the beat down?''

"Joru said there were about twelve, most of them armed with a melee weapon of some sort."

Oliver rubbed his face a long moment before he stood. ''Sit down and enjoy my sandwich for me, damnit."

"B-Boss? Shouldn't I go with you?''

Oliver pointed a finger to his sandwich before to Ko. ''Never, waste something that someone else can finish, I have three others, see if any of the boys want one." Oliver grumbled as he began to walk out, Ko catching a muttering something about needing a clover cigarette. as he watches Oliver leave.

''W-well. Bosses order...." He finished the sandwich, and at one of the other three while giving the two others to someone else.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Soon he was standing in front of a warehouse, a cigarette hanging from his lips as he took a long drag before he let the butt of the cigarette fall to the ground, letting him stomp it out before he walked in, a King doesn't walk in the back door, at least not right now. Don't quote him on this later when he needs to sneak around

Kicking the two doors leading into the warehouse, the both of them busted open to the side. Oliver finally releasing the smoke from his nose in a long exhale as he stared at the supprised group, looking around he found a sharply dressed guy, arms tied behind his back, he was bruised and bloody. Watching him a moment he mumbled a few things before he called out. ''Hey, Kiga, you alive?!"

There was a cough before he got looked up to, the bruises swelling on of his eyes shut, his face had small cuts, but he had no signs of crying, only when he saw Oliver did a few tears appear, only to sob out "YES BOSS!" Oliver didn't know this, but when he got called his name and heard it was Oliver's voice, he realized at that moment that Boss cared, which of course was a complete misunderstanding, kind of.

Looking around he looked at all that was gathered, a few of them starting to realize who he was as they started to get cocky, he was just one guy, after all, seeing a few of them bruised themselves, and one had his nose busted up Oliver slowly nodded. "Kiga! Did you beat them like this?" He said this as he was walking forward, starting to roll up his sleeves, he made sure to leave his coat off, can't get blood on his favorite blue suit jacket, his black undershirt, and vest? Completely fine though. He could just remake them after all.

Kiga once more spoke up, this time he sounded a lot better, he was trying to act tough for the Boss. "Yes, Boss! I did as you taught me, and went for the closest one first!" There was a loud curse before a foot slammed into the already downed man, a groan leaving him as he slumped over.

No one knew this, but Oliver's eyes hardened to that, placing one of the steel beams holding up the warehouse, gripping his hand around the pipe there as they all started to make their way to him ''Where are the rest of your lackeys, or did you show up by yourself to beg?''

"Beg? No." There was one in the crowd that seemed to freeze to that, his quirk which was actually a pretty bad quirk since he never thought about making it strong, was like a sense, a sixth sense that helped him avoid danger, and he wasn't sure why. But it was acting up for the first time in a long while, and it was really, really bad. He was about to say something before there was a sound of grinding metal before a solid crack rank out.

He was the closest to Oliver, and as you know. Oliver goes for the closest one first, so the first strike after he ripped a pipe out, was the knee. The sickening crack came as it shattered near on impact. The second strike was right over the shoulder into the neck, breaking the collar bone before the third hit brought the poor guy to the ground as he savagely beat the man across the temple, making him crumble like a puppet with his strings cut. Was he dead? Possibly, who told him to be a little bitch?

Oliver swung the pipe a few times as a test before giving it a nod. They were all stunned into silence, it took a group of them to take out just one of their guys, but their leader walks in, and takes out one of their own like it's another day at the supermarket?

While they were all trying to process what was going on, there was a shout from the crowd as he roared. ''THERE IS ONLY ONE OF THEM! JUST ATTACK HIM ALL AT ONCE, HE CAN'T TAKE ALL OF US ON!"

They didn't know this at the time, but boy was they wrong.

There was a lot of screaming and cursing but the first thing Oliver did was raise the make-shift bat before he brought it down, smashing the guy's chest in once more while he was already down, strike at the moral first. Some of them got shaken, it wasn't hard to understand that Oliver didn't seem to care about a down opponent as he stepped forward to meet their running.
