The sound of Cora's screaming was finally fading down the hall. Where she was being taken, it was far away from here. And it wasn't Brine, the bailiff, that had her now. He must have handed her over to the guards that were outside the room.

In Cora's place though, the others were being brought in here. Avisa, the Siren Chieftain. Ula, Remora and Naida, her daughters. Pearl, Bay, and Angel, the others that were not directly related to each other but had been involved in the case. They were all brought in and led to the table.

"OCEAN!" Ula called out to me. "I am so happy to see you." Her face lit up with excitement and joy.

"Do not address the witness." The guard that dragged her to her seat snapped at her.

"But I have to talk to him." She whined back at him. "I have to tell him the good news. Ocean!"
