Well, that was a one in a million chance. What are the odds that we end up getting everything the same? The same exact watch. The same exact chain. And the same exact pendant. And then the candy was all the same too. It was like some crazy level of mated pair syncing going on here. I didn't hate it though.

To be completely honest, I completely loved the fact that Ocean and I were on the same page with each other. We both knew what we wanted, and it just happened to be the same thing. I had a feeling that when we moved and lived in our own place, that nothing at all was going to change between us.

"I love you, Makai." Ocean whispered after putting his gifts, identical to my gifts, on his dresser.

"I love you too. And I have one more gift for you." I was sure that he already knew what it was though.

"Hmm, is it the same gift that I want to give you." He almost seemed to purr when he asked me that.
