Chapter 52: An Average Morning
*Multiple POVs*

(MC POV)
The moment I woke up I was excited for what lay ahead, while I tried to get out of bed. I struggled a bit before realizing I was restrained.
My mind instantly went to the worse possible scenarios that could of transpired while I was asleep.
'Oh my god, have I been kidnapped?! It was only a single night away from the ceremony too! How could this happen to me.'
Before I remembered what had led up to last night. The stress that was created from my own imagination quickly dissipated. Tilting my head down I noticed the pair of arms that were somehow still tightly restraining me.
'I don't want to forcefully wake her up, so my only option is to somehow wiggle my way out.'
The position she had held me in still hadn't changed. My hands seemingly stuck to my chest. Her right arm had been underneath the weight of my entire body for the whole night. So it should be super numb, perhaps I could use that to my advantage.
At first I tried to turn my wrists around to unhook her hands which attached to each other. Successfully turning them around I tried using all the leverage my fingers had to no avail.
Thinking about the numb arm again I tried putting as much weight as possible onto her right forearm to unhook them. The pressure rapidly accumulated until I felt I could draw no more weight from anywhere.
I held it there for solid minute or two before giving up. The arm didn't bugle nor seemed to of even reacted to the pressure I placed upon it.
'Aw man, I can't even break free from her grip. How am I supposed to help her out during the small realm exploration?'
These were the only methods I could think of at the moment that I would be willing to use. The others I thought of would probably work, but they were only for someone with bad intentions.
I could never hurt Yao Ya, who was only peacefully sleeping behind me.
'I guess I have to wake her up.'
Before I could even open my mouth Li Lian popped up in front of me from who knows where.
She had her signature feint smile as she gazed down at me.
"Would you like some help from me?" She said, gently placing a hand upon my cheek.
After hearing that I felt the pair of arms hugging me seem to get a little tighter for some reason.
"Yes. Please."
"That's not what I want to hear." She said retracting her hand
'Huh? Does she want me to be more sincere?'
"Please, Li Lian I beg of you!"
"What did you call me?" Her eyes seemed a little colder as she spoke.
My mind raced as I wondered what I said wrong.
'Was there something else she was called? Oh wait!'
"Big Sister Li will you please help me?"
Her attitude took a 180 from those simple words.
"♥Kyaa~ Of course! This Big Sister will definitely help!♥"
As I was internally celebrating the being free the pair of arms suddenly tightened. The little amount of room I could of used to move my wrists disappeared and gradually the force increased. It was slowly getting to a point where I might start to get crushed.
'Alright, she's definitely awake now and there's denying it!!'
Seemingly noticing what was happening Li Lian finally came to help.
"Yao Ya I know you're awake please stop squeezing me!! You're going to kill me!" I shouted in attempt to stop her.
Li Lian finally got ahold of Yao Ya's arms and separated them; freeing me from being crushed. Once Li Lian separated Yao Ya's arms she let go and they just limply fell down. It was like they never had any strength put into them.
A moment or two afterward Yao Ya just 'Conveniently' woke up.
"*Yawn* Ah! You two are already awake? Let's get ready for the ceremony."
I saw Li Lian stand up and move away before I rolled over to face Yao Ya. She had an innocent smile and her emerald eyes glittered on her face seemingly oblivious to her earlier action.
"Hey! What was that earlier? You almost could have killed me doing that!"
Her eyes widened a bit and her smile dimed as she heard my words.
"Wh-What do you mean? Did I do something wrong?" Worry clear in her voice.
"You know what I mean! Don't play dumb! I know you were awake! You can't just say it was an accident!" My voice slowly raised throughout speaking.
Her face was drastically different from when I turned over now. Her eyes seemed watery and her lips once smiling now turned to a trembling frown. It looked like if I said anything else she would start bawling.
Seeing her barely holding back her tears I couldn't stay angry at her. The anger I had moments ago turned to worry as I thought of a way to stop the flood.
I wrapped my arms around her back and placed a hand behind her head, while leaning in to hug her. I rested my head on her shoulder as I looked at the wall behind her. In return she rested her head on my shoulder and embraced me with her arms around my waist.
While stroking her hair I apologized, "I'm sorry, Yao Ya for yelling at you. How about this? I'll let you do what to me in return. Just, please don't be mad at me... Do you forgive me?"
"*Sniff**Sniff*.. O-Okay... but can I save that as a favor instead?" A soft voice was heard behind my ear.
"Of course!" I said with fervor.
"And you won't be able to reject it right?"
"Of cour- wait, what are you planning?"
"It's a deal! You agreed I heard it!" She said tightly embracing me for a few moments more.
As she loosened her grip and I saw her face once more it was back to the one I saw as she woke up, innocent and wholesome.
Getting out of bed I realized something.
'*Sigh* Wasn't she the one in the wrong? Why did I have to apologize in the end? She even has a free "Do anything you want card" in her hands now. Oh the ceremony! We got to go!'
"Yao Ya! We got to get to the ceremony!" I spoke in a troubled tone.
"It's okay we still have half an hour before it starts." An unhurried tone came from her.
"Well it's still better to get there early. It takes around twenty minutes to climb up the stairs to get there."
"Okay! Let's go together then!" Yao Ya said as she locked arms with me.

(Li Lian POV)
Once I reached a wall I leaned against it to see how this would play out. It was obvious she was awake the whole time, she was awake before he was, I think she was even the one to wake him up.
Seeing her cute little plan to spent as much time like that together as possible- I felt like I just have to disrupt it. I even got him to call me Big Sister again, so I didn't lose anything.
What came after wasn't what I expected at all though. After I broke apart her little bind she pretended to wake up. Her feigned ignorance and innocent act after clearly being exposed surprised me for sure.
"You know what I mean! Don't play dumb! I know you were awake! You can't just say it was an accident!" Yelling at her.
'Even he knows it was fake, can you really continue?'
In turn she make a sad face and somehow she got him. His anger changed into worry upon seeing that face as he embraced her.
'What? But... but.... hey! Why are you apologizing now?'
"I'm sorry, Yao Ya for yelling at you. How about this? I'll let you do what to me in return. Just, please don't be mad at me... Do you forgive me?"
When her head pasted his she looked at me and brightly smiled while continuing her act. Is this what it means to bullshit your way out of anything? In the end she even gained something from it.
I was stunned as I watched at them getting up off the bed, 'How did she do that? I should try that and see if it works for me sometime.'
