Chapter 23: Chapter 24, The Solo Performance
Gem's POV
"Everything is Soo Intense guys" . Ofcourse , it is intense Gem! cause the competition is today . Ocean nervously stated. "Don't worry guys l'm sure we'll do great. Let's just pray that our performances will be good enough" said Army. "Your right Army , Let's pray ". After praying , we were told by Mrs Thebazile that people will be randomly called to the stage to perform . My heart was rising , me , Army and Ocean were eagerly awaiting for our turn to perform so that we can finally get it over with.
All of us were there in the audience watching the performance ,live. Two people were called back stage , when it's their turn to perform .
Valentine and Becky were the first ones to be called . Elizabeth performed beautiful Scares by Alessia Cara . Everyone including the judges were Wowed with her performance . "It's a great way to start the evening ". Thebazile said . Becky performed Birthday by Anne Marie but unfortunately the song didn't match her voice so the judges were Abit disappointed.
Army and Ocean were called. Army performed Like you by Tatiana . One of the judges said :
Your a star and this is the best performance so far , keep it up and trust me you won't regret it.
Ocean performed ,I Like Me Better by Lauv. Everyone in the audience loved her performance . The fans were cheering for both Army and Ocean . One of the judges said that , They are very talented and cute twins and they're going to be the next big thing.
Arianna and Kendra were called to stage . Then Christine and Valentine were called to the stage, then Maya and Marie , then Clare and Jane , then Diane and Bridget , then Kendal and Celine , then Amani and Carol. And finally me and Frozen . Frozen performed Girls like us by Zoe Wees . The judges gave her a standing inovation and I was Soo nervous cause l didn't that l would do better than her .
I performed Euphoria by Junkook. Thank God a hit the high note perfectly,the judges gave me a standing inovation and they even made a slight bow . "OMG Gem!!! your voice is out of this world , l'm a huge fan . How did you even sing in Korean , you don't even speak Korean ,right? . The judge stated. Yes , l don't speak Korean . l replied. Everyone in the crowd cheered for me .
Thebazile's POV
Wow , you guys were on fire tonight.
Now l will read out the top ten contestants that will be safe from elimination.
In tenth place is Celine, well done .
In ninth place is Christine, well done .
In eighth place is Valentine , well done.
In seventh place is Amani , well done .
In sixth place is Bridget, well done .
In fifth place is Frozen, congratulations.
In fourth place is Ocean, congratulations.
In third place is Army , congratulations.
In second place is Elizabeth, congratulations.
In first part is Gem , congratulations ,Gem .
Today the judges are going to be eliminating three contestants. Unfortunately , Carol , Diane and Becky will be leaving us today.
