Third Person's POV

They walked in silence for a while, the only sounds being the soft rustle of the wind in the trees and the distant calls of birds. The sun was beginning its descent, casting long shadows across the landscape. The young lad felt a twinge of nostalgia for the journey that was coming to an end. It had been a chance to see Alex in a different light, not just as a king but as a man who had lived many lives, who carried the wisdom of ages.

As they approached a small clearing just before the gates, they saw a group of people gathered near a well. The citizens were laughing and talking, their voices mingling with the sounds of the day. The young lad recognized a few of them—people they had helped on previous visits, during times of peace and conflict alike.

One of the people, a middle-aged man with a weathered face and kind eyes, noticed them approaching and waved. "Your Majesties! Welcome back!"
