Chapter 4: An Unexpected Date
Tyler was standing at the corridors of the building waiting for me when he saw me crying and running towards the class he came and stopped me. By wiping my tears, he cupped my face in his palms and asked me
Tyler: “why are you crying beautiful? Did something happen between you and that guy? Did he hurt you?”
Meline: I buried my face in his shoulders and started crying like a baby. He hugged me.
Tyler: “let’s go somewhere else where we could talk, I know you are very upset and could use a friend instead of those boring professors”
Meline: I just nodded my head without saying anything. He then removed his phone and searched for a place and booked a cab to go there. I had no idea where we were going. We went to the main gate and waited for our cab to arrive. The whole time my hand was in Tyler’s hand and I was crying. As we were waiting for cab, I noticed that demon and his girlfriend were standing across the road, behind a full grown and green tree kissing each other and laughing. I won’t lie, it killed me from inside seeing him kissing and laughing with someone else. And suddenly demon looked in my direction and his smile change with disgust as he sees me holding Tyler’s hand. He started to move towards us but before he could reach our cab arrived and I rushed in as fast as I could. Demon was shocked looking at my behavior.
Demon: I was shocked, something inside me was hurting I don’t know what it was but seeing Mel with that guy holding hands was hurting me. I was about to go and confront them but their cab arrived and Mel got in so fast, like she was avoiding me, that we were some strangers.
Meline: Tyler and I didn’t talk in the cab; we were sitting quietly holding each other’s hand. As we arrived at our destination, Tyler got out first and moved his hand in front of me. he was trying to be as nice as a guy could be. And then he took out a black satin piece of cloth and asked
Tyler: “can I tie this on your eyes? Do you trust me to allow me to blindfold you and take you to the destination”?
Meline: I rubbed the back of his hand with my fingers softly and said “I trust you” hearing my words he was so happy any one could know that just by looking at his face.
Tyler: I didn’t believe that this girl could become so special for me just in a day. She is so small almost half of my height and that beauty like god has taken all of his time to make her... her silky smooth and soft skin which gives an urge to just hold her so that you can feel her skin on yours, her hairs were all over her shoulder, I could go on for an hour just saying how much beautiful she is but when I saw her crying today ,I felt like killing that person who is responsible for her pain so I decided to take her out to lighten up her mood and the best part was that she trusted me to guide her to let me hold her hand. This feeling was more than enough for me. I felt like I have won the lottery. “Mel be careful, we are going to walk through woods just for few minutes to reach our destination.”
Meline: “I guess then you should let me open my eyes or else I surely will twist my ankle or worst scenario break my teeth’s”
Tyler: “hermosa trust me I will never let you fall. I will always be there to catch you”
Meline: “hermosa? what does that mean?”
Tyler: “it is an exact word to describe you”
Meline: I could hear him chuckling that means it should be something funny “then I guess it would be like silly? Or stupid? No... no definitely crazy? Am I right?”
Tyler: I just couldn’t help myself to control my laugh. This girl has no idea of how beautiful she is and what she can do to the guys. “absolutely wrong answer.” I clapped and laughed out even louder “hermosa means beautiful in Spanish.”
Meline: “omg! Do you really think I am beautiful? And why did you give me this nick name?”
Tyler: “you have no idea of how beautiful you are girl. You can drive any guy crazy for you. And answering to another question, first of all nick names are given to those people who are special to you and you are special to me no dought in that and that’s why I started calling you Mel before but I guess that friend of yours had some problem with it so after thinking I gave you this name. so, what do you say, am I allowed to call you hermosa?”
Meline: I don’t know why but hearing his reply gave me butterflies “you have given me such a lovely name why would I not like it. I loved it in fact”
Tyler: “so now it’s your turn to give me a nick name. say hermosa what will you call me?”
Meline: “I will have to use all of my brains to give you a special name and if you don’t mind can you give me time to think about it. Please!”
Tyler: “of course hermosa take as much as time you want. Oh look! We have arrived now it’s time to open your eyes”
Meline: Tyler slowly removed that satin cloth from my eyes and when I opened my eyes, I was shocked and said “oh my god Tyler! I have never seen such a beautiful place in my entire life” it was a small place where there was waterfall between the greenery of the forest. This place was magical.
Tyler: “so hermosa are you ready for a swim?”
Meline: “is that even a question lets go”
Tyler: the look on her face was priceless, she was so happy seeing this place. Her happiness was same like when a kid is given his favorite toy which he had lost. I thought of doing some mischief with her so I gave her a devilish smirk and said “hermosa would go skinny diving with me or would you like to have your clothes on?”
Meline: I slowly gave a punch on his hard rock chest as I was blushing from his question and said “shut up Tyler, I am having my clothes on. Don’t flatter yourself too much” and I chuckled.
Tyler: I took her hand and said “let’s go up there where the waterfall starts and jump from there together”
Meline: giving him a scared look I said “are you crazy? I am not going up on that height. I don’t want to die at this early age “he laughed at me
Tyler: “you are too funny hermosa, you won’t even get a scratch from that height”
Meline: “no... no I am not going there up”
Tyler: I took her hand and with my other hand I turned her face towards me and said “as I told you before also, I will never let anything happen to you. Just trust me you will enjoy it”
Meline: “I trust you Tyler but I am scared”
Tyler: “hold my hand and close your eyes if you trust me hermosa”
Meline: I agreed to him and hold his hand as tightly as I could. My nails were digging in his skin I had grabbed his hand so tight but he didn’t say a word to me and we jumped. Oh gosh! I could never believe he made me jump from that height and it was such an amazing experience “Tyler it was amazing. I loved it. thank you so much”
Tyler: “let’s do it again and again if you loved it” I said while splashing water at her playfully
Meline: “to can play this game” and I splashed water at him to with all my force. We jumped from above quite a few times and then we just stood in middle of the water and enjoyed each other’s company. It was such an amazing feeling
