Chapter 31: Planning Xiao Hui's birthday

After a while, Yun Xi was the one who broke the silence.

“Hehe, I mean it’s my son’s birthday. How could you not tell me about this? I want to prepare so many things for him since it’s his first birthday with me. And thanks to you, I don’t have much time left now.”

Mo Shan felt a bit guilty after listening to her reasons. He replied, “ You don’t have to worry about it. It’s because he doesn’t like to celebrate his birthday too grandly. So, we just have family dinner on his birthday.”

Yun Xi felt sad for Xiao Hui. Who doesn’t like their birthday celebration? Maybe he is like that because he knows he is not the same as other children, he doesn't have his mother with him.

“But no worries, from now on, Xiao Hui has me”, Yun Xi consoled her.

She then looked at Mo Shan and stated determinedly, “That’s because I was not with him before. But now he has me. So, we have to celebrate his birthday anyhow.”

Mo Shan saw confidence in her eyes, so he agreed with her.
