I couldn't count how many times I've run my fingers through my hair in the last hour. I was processing the whole thing down to the smallest detail and it's too much.

The Pack have always wondered where Amalia spent the years when she was away from the Pack. No one knows what she was up to besides the occasional calls and greetings during holidays. We've also wondered why she never mated, and why she wasn't seeking one, or even thinking about it. It puzzled the whole Pack, and in the end, we decided to put our own conclusion to it, that she was just waiting patiently for her mate to come along.

"Fuck," I gritted, kicking the wooden fence of a flower bed, part of the landscape, erected just beside me. The fence wobbled a little, making a creaking noise. The vibrant, sunny day was also making my mood worse.
