Chapter 74: Getting Closer

The whole unit was tense. 

The man we spied the last day was indeed Orion. He arrived first in the coffee shop before Lacey did, the asset. Everyone was tense but Lacey's acting didn't even falter. Best to say she's one of the best actresses the agency has.

Lacey was dressed in a common office attire, black pants, a cream turtleneck shirt and a deep green coat. She has a cold look on her face while striding inside the shop. It was dramatic how she paused, throwing an irritated glance all over the place. She's good. I could learn a lot from her.

After Lacey dialed someone on her phone, Orion's hands went up just a little, catching the asset's attention. She walked purposely in that direction and dropped her phone back inside her handbag.

The phone, first button on her coat and the ring she's wearing were all modified with a microphone and lenses. The UIA would finally have a clear lead on the origin of Mercy.
