When I arrived in Amegakure I reunited with Tsunade, who hugged me tightly the moment she saw me arrive at her post. After that, together with my team, we began to help the allied forces in every turn to fight against the enemy, and... the truth was, it was surprisingly easy. War by no means is easy mentally speaking, but every ninja that I would face would die with a single attack, two if they were above average.
It was surprisingly anticlimactic to kill enemies so easily, it almost made the entire ordeal feel unreal, like a videogame you passed and now have the cheats for, it was… strange to say the least.
As for my students, well, considering most of the enemies were incredibly weak compared to me, I let them fight some of the fights, with me close just in case something happened, it was educational for them and safe because no matter how strong the enemy was compared to my students if I was near his only option was defeat.
Most of the time, however, when I could, I would be with Tsunade, talking, fighting, and sharing stories, times like this made me realize I really cared about her, she was probably my one and only friend in this world, Hiruzen was at one point my friend, but now all I had was her, perhaps with time I would learn to love her beyond friendship.
"Nawaki has grown stronger," Tsunade said, looking at Nawaki train.
"It was my plan," To make him strong, to ensure his survival, after all, his death was one of the many breaking points that drove Tsunade to her downfall.
"When do you think this war will end?" Tsunade asked, her eyes distant and somewhat tired.
"I don't know, it always comes down to resources… as long as the Villages have resources, they will fight, even if they are losing," I answered, after all, war was a bloody business.
"Nawaki wants to be Hokage," Tsunade smiled, "Perhaps he will be able to fulfill grandpa's dream."
"Perhaps," I nodded, after all, him surviving could very well change the entire world.
"Raiden-sama!" Sama, since when I get called Sama.
"Yes?" I turned around to face the person that was calling me.
"Orders from the command post, you are to part west right now!" The trembling chunnin informed me. What are people talking about me that they tremble by just talking to me?
"Very well," I sighed, standing up.
As if predicting I was about to call my team, the chunnin stopped me, which in turn earned him a small glare, "Sorry Raiden-sama, but you are to come alone, orders from the Hokage himself."
Hiruzen had broken our deal, "That old bastard," I hissed under my breath flaring my chakra. How could he… our deal was I was to decide if I parted with my team or not.
"It's ok," Tsunade sensing my inner rage, hugged me, "I will take care of the brats for you."
At this, I snorted, "Thanks, please don't let Jiraiya corrupt them."
"Never," Tsunade winked.

After saying my goodbyes, I ran towards the west post. Wondering, what kind of mission or plan did Hiruzen had that I had to do it alone, he had to know by now that normal ninjas were at best a nuisance to me, and that… so that's what it is, the old bastard wants me to fight a Kage, after all, Kages are the only ones that could possibly pose a threat to my team even with me around.
"Raiden reporting for duty," I said entering the command post, only to find Hiruzen was not there, which only helped to add more salt to the injury of our relationship.
"Raiden-sama, my name is Yomugi Yamanaka, I apologize for the sudden summon, but the Hokage said were he not to be available you were our best bet," Smart of him, though his students together could take a Kage to.
"It's okay," I sighed, "So… who do I have to kill?"
"Well, we are not aiming for killing so much as for survival," Yomugi sighed, "The Third Raikage is pushing us back, and we can barely halt his advances on the west post, which is why we needed a Kage level ninja."
The Third… Raikage, this was the point where I lost control of my chakra, so much so that several ninjas inside the command post fell unconscious thanks to the sheer pressure of my chakra, "I am glad you called me here," I declared, reigning my chakra back to normal. "I will help you deal with that man, don't worry."
At last, my opportunity to kill one of the bastards behind the death of Tobirama sensei had presented itself in a silver platter, and unlike the wedding, I would be free to kill him, I was beyond excited with this unique opportunity, but even then, I would have to be careful, because bastard or not, he was a Kage.
"I-i s-see," Yomugi shivered.
"I will wait for my orders," I informed the shaking Yamanaka, "So please tell me as soon as the Third Raikage appears, I will deal with him my way."
"As you wish, Raiden-sama," Yomugi, who by now had recovered, nodded.

[Third Raikage POV]
They had sent Senju Raiden to Konoha's west post, it seems they wanted us to clash in combat, good. Only I could deal with the brat, according to the reports, he had been killing hundreds of ninjas with such ease he might as well be swatting flies out of his way, with this change of his post, I would have the opportunity to stop one of Konoha's strongest weapons before it damaged us beyond repair.
"B!" I shouted.
"Yes?" B flickered beside me.
"Have our sensors be on the alert for Senju Raiden, if he appears my orders are clear, flee on sight and wait for me. I will deal with him," Only me, or B if he lets the Hachibi take control could possibly face Raiden, but considering the Hachibi would most likely attack us, it was best if I was the one to deal with him.
"As you wish," B nodded.
