Chapter 1616: Frozen

Ning couldn't worry about Shara just yet as he had to take out these two men before he went after the boss who had made his way upto the second floor.

'I've tried projectiles, I've tried it on myself. I've even tried it on my weapons,' Ning thought. 'So the only thing that's left is to check if my powers work when I touch someone.'

Thinking so, Ning moved to the right, dodging the man that came for him. He turned the knife around in his hand, using its hilt to strike him right in the throat. 

As the man proceeded to grab his own throat, Ning pushed against him, sending him colliding with the other man who was about to attack.

'Not that either?' Ning thought. He felt nothing happening, no powers being used. There was no feedback.

'The hell is my power?' Ning thought, confused. He should've used it by now. Despite his current memories being fake, Ning knew for a fact that what he remembered was the correct thing.
