Chapter 736: Misunderstanding

As usual, Damien denied being waited by any servants since he felt really uncomfortable being surrounded by people he didn't know.

The bath was already prepared, so he hopped in and took a nice and relaxing bath. After that, he rummaged through his luggage for a fresh set of clothes. However, no matter how many times he went through the clothes in his luggage, he didn't find any that he wanted to wear.

His eyes were constantly on the clothes that he had worn on the way – the ones that Kenneth had gifted him.

Damien sighed and sat down on the floor. He gazed at the dusty waistcoat and mumbled to himself, "I want to wear that for dinner as well. Everyone will be in their shirts and trousers and I will be the only one sitting there looking like an elder demon."

He sighed again and thought, "I wish I had learned that cleaning spell from Mirah." He squinted his eyes and thought again, "Shall I go home and ask her for another favor?"
