Chapter 19: Pinwheel forest
Touya followed Aloe out of the gym and then started looking around for clues.
Right at that moment a man with light brown hair and green eyes dressed in a very colorful way appeared.
"Hey Aloe, are there any new fossils on display?, I need a new inspiration" said the man in a calm tone.
"Now is not the time for that Camus some guys stole a Dragonite skull from the museum!" Aloe said impatiently.
"By the way Touya he's the Castella's city gym leader, the rest doesn't matter now" Aloe said as she kept looking around.
At that moment Cheren and Bel also appeared.
"Hey Touya, did something happen?, That woman seems very agitated" Cheren said pointing to Aloe.
"Well, in a nutshell the team plasma stole a very important Dragonite skull from the museum" Touya said with an annoyed tone.
"Hey Touya, don't tell me these are your friends, they are also trainers!" Aloe said with a bit of surprise.
"Well, we'll split up, I'll go to Route 3, Cheren and Bel will take care of the museum and Camus and Touya will go to the Pinwheel forest!" Aloe said without waiting for an answer and then go to route 3.
"I'll go ahead a bit, catch up with me when you can" Camus said seriously and then went to the Pinwheel forest.
"Ohh, by the way Touya, I have something that could help you" Bel said as she searched her bag.
Bel searched and searched making the bag make all kinds of sounds, from glass to a bird for some reason.
"Here it is, it's a dowser that Oryza lent me, it could help you find the skull" Bel said giving the dowser to Touya.
"Bel, you should fix your bag" Touya said in a tired tone as he took the dowser.
"By the way, don't think I didn't realize you were together before coming here, we'll discuss that later youngsters" Touya said with a mocking tone and then left, leaving a very blushing Bel and Cheren.
Touya met up with Camus who guided him into the forest to a place where the roads parted.
"Very well, there are two paths, one in a straight line which leads to the exit of the forest and the other that goes through the heart of the forest, which is a bit difficult to traverse and it is easy to get lost" said Camus with a serious tone.
"A friend lent me a dowser to find the skull, so I should go to the heart of the forest" Touya said showing the dowser.
"Perfect, I'll block the exit in case they want to escape!" Camus said and then ran towards the exit.
"He doesn't seem to disagree with leaving me alone" Touya said feeling betrayed.
"Sawk" Sawk said patting him on the back.
"Come on friend, let's find those idiots" Touya said with an annoyed tone as he entered the forest.
After a few minutes following the dowser Touya found the first recruit.
"Hey idiot, return the skull that was stolen" Touya said pointing at the recruit.
"Nobody opposes us, I will defeat you so that my companions can escape" said the recruit with determination.
After Sawk defeated the recruit's pokémon he said.
"Hehehe, maybe you beat me, but I don't have the skull, you're going to have to look elsewhere and beat all my teammates" said the recruit with a mocking tone.
"Hooo?, so I'm going to have to kick each and every butt of you, with pleasure" Touya said with an evil smile.
"D-don't try to scare us brat" said the recruit with a little fear and then left.
Touya followed the dowser and fought several recruits from the team plasma, all very weak compared to Aloe.
As he walked he came across something interesting.
It was a small pokémon, wrapped in what appeared to be a cloak of leaves and had a very depressed face, a Swadloon according to the Pokedex.
"I didn't know that pokémon also had their own emos" Touya said and then took the pokémon and lifted it.
"Look at you, you are adorable, tell me who hates his life who?" Touya said playing with the pokémon.
"Swad!" Swadloon said annoyed as he threw some silk on Touya's face.
"Okay, I deserved it" Touya said as he lowered the pokémon and wiped his face.
"Sawk!" Sawk said in an annoyed tone.
"Yes, I know, I know, we have to look for the skull, but how could I ignore an emo pokemon?" Touya said as he followed the dowser.
After defeating other team plasma recruits and passing through several giant logs of dubious provenance, Touya arrived at a hidden location with flowers around him and a recruit waiting for him.
'This looks like a final battle scene' Touya thought with a bit of excitement.
"How could you beat my teammates at such a young age?!, It doesn't matter, I will beat you now and make the ideals of the team plasma come true" said the recruit with determination as the wind moved his clothes in an epic way.
"Yup, he's definitely the final boss, this will be exciting" said Touya full of expectation.
And thus began the battle against the boss to retrieve the Dragonite skull.
