Chapter 179: Why Was He So Smiley Today?!

"Percy likes staying up late but I prefer my sleep too," Penelope admitted. "Sorry for keeping you up. That game really sucks you in, huh?"

"Yeah, it does," Roman agreed absentmindedly. "Don't worry about it; I was at fault too." 

She wasn't sure what else to say to him now. It was a bit surprising seeing him in this part of town since she knew he lived in Glendale. That was where they had the cheese incident and it came up that his house was in the area while hers was not. 

Standing there awkwardly wasn't the best option so she needed to either keep the conversation going or make a break for it. But she was feeling magnanimous this morning. Maybe she could do a better job of thanking him for helping her out the other day since he was here. 

"Hey, do you want a donut?" Penelope asked. "If you watch my bike for me, I can go get some for both of us."
