Chapter 172: Don't Do That!

Penelope was confused and exhausted. Today had been quite a doozy between starting a new job, finding out who her boss was, sitting across from a guy she had been fairly sure disliked her for all of dinner, getting hit on by a creep, and then finding out said guy might not dislike her after all. 

That older guy had been more than a little terrifying and she didn't ever want to take the bus again. It wasn't the first time something like that had happened but this one was the most aggressively in her face of the bunch. 

She sighed. It would be nice if she could get a ride to work from either of her parents but she doubted they would go for it even on days they weren't working since her work was all the way across town. Maybe she needed to suck it up and go to a cheap car lot that didn't require any money down.
