Chapter 26: CHAPTER # 26
He stood up and ran towards me, engulfing me into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Please forgive your Daddy...please" he said as he kept crying, I felt something wet on my shoulder...it was his tears. My heart ached at his state.
He did wrong but...he is still my father whom I love the most.
"I'm really...sorry my baby...I'm sorry" he kept mumbling sorry after sorry and at this point tears had already made their way out of my eyes.
I broke the hug and wiped his tears but as soon as I wiped one tear off another made its way out.
"Now stop crying will you? Or do you wish for me to wipe your tears all night?" I said cupping his face with my small hands as he passed a small smile.
We both made our way towards the couch. Daddy sat on the couch and made me sit beside him. He started to explain why he restricted me from everything, why he appointed all the guards and why I was locked up in my room. It was exactly what Mommy told me, he was scared...scared of losing me.
After an hour of his explanation and apologizing, here we were sitting in the garden staring at the night sky...again.
It was silent. No one was talking or should I say no one knew how to start a conversation....
After a while, I finally build up the courage to break this uncomfortable silence and end this stupid awkwardness between us.
"...I forgive you..." I said looking straight ahead as Daddy jolted his head towards me.
"R-really?" He asked in an astonishing manner as if he couldn't believe his ears. I slowly nodded and he engulfed me into a tight hug.
"Daddy...I...can't...breath" I managed to say this as he released me. I looked at his face, he had a big smile plastered on his face with happy tears coming out of his eyes. I wiped his tears and placed a kiss on his cheek and cupped his face.
"It's okay....I understand. I know you are having a hard time digesting everything going on but....don't worry, I promise I will never let anything bad happen to me or anyone else. You know how strong and smart I am right? No one can even touch a single hair on my head...I'm your daughter after all..." I said with a proud smile as he chuckled.
"I really don't deserve an angel like you," he said, caressing my cheek.
"That's right," I said with a straight face. I can clearly see sadness at his face.
"You really don't deserve an angel like me..." I said as he drooped, I felt bad for teasing him.
"But..." I said as he lifted his head making eye contact with me. I held his hand and said, "You really do deserve a daughter like me because the angel you're talking about...is Mommy" I smiled as his eyes again filled with tears.
"Oh gosh, Daddy! You are surely a crybaby. Why are you so emotional, huh?" I asked, teasing him as he shook his head while wiping his tears. We both hugged each other and our giggles could be heard in every corner of the mansion.
Little did the father-daughter duo know that the angel they were talking about was watching everything with tears in her eyes and a smile plastered on her face.
"I am so grateful to God for blessing me with such a rare gem" said the Duchess with happiness and affection visible on her face.

"Woah Sabi! Do it again!" Anne exclaimed followed by Shane.
"Yeah Sister again!!!"
"How many times should I show you? It's been the seventeenth time today." I whined.
"But it is so cool! Last time please..." Anne Pouted and same goes for Shane.
"Okay but this is the last time." I warned as they nodded.
Currently we are at the garden since it's tea time and Mommy and Aunt Rosaline will be joining soon and as for what are we doing? I am currently showing them my magic skills. I have been learning how to control my mana flow and how to make use of it. Miss Granny has been my guide up till now. God knows where that Augustus is? He hasn't appeared once! What a great spirit assistant he is.
"Looks like someone is having quiet fun here" Aunt Rosaline said, coming towards us accompanied by Mommy.
"Yes!" Shane and Anne exclaimed while I just sighed.
"Good Evening!" I greeted them.
"Good Evening Sabi" Aunt said and patted my head whereas Mommy kissed my cheek.
Soon after we all settled down and are currently enjoying our tea time. We three are still young to be drinking tea, Shane is drinking his banana milkshake and the same goes for Anne, as for me...everybody knows the answer. I'm drinking my strawberry milkshake.
"Sabrina?" Mommy said, gaining my attention.
"Yes?" I replied.
"Have you replied to Prince Aiden's letter?" Mommy asked.
"Yup! He was asking about my health and don't worry I didn't tell him that I am Agnola." I said as she nodded.
"But why can't we tell him? He is our friend..." Anne asked innocently.
"Because he still belongs to the Royal family and we can not risk any type of attention towards Sabrina until she is completely capable of protecting herself" Mommy explained to which Anne nodded her head and continued enjoying her milkshake.
"Oh! I forgot to tell you. Aiden requested us to visit him tomorrow so Anne and I will be going to the palace tomorrow since we also miss him. The last time we met was two week before my awakening..." I said.
"Oh yes, it is okay. You can go but make sure to take Sir Ryan and Fannie with you, you know your father-"
"Yeah yeah I know and do you even have to say this?" I cut Mommy off while gesturing with my hands, making her chuckle.
"Yeah we all know how your father is..." Aunt Rosaline said while giggling. And just like that the whole afternoon went with giggles and laughter.
"Goodbye!!!" Me and Shane said in unison while waving.
"Bye bye!!!" Anne said while waving back and soon both figures entered their mansion.
"We should also head back shall we?" Mommy said as we both nodded. We went inside the mansion hand in hand.
"Mommy I'm still full with the milkshake and cake we had this afternoon so I will skip dinner tonight okay" I said.
"Okay but what if you get hungry?" Mommy asked.
"I won't, I'll sleep early today since we have to go to the Palace tomorrow" I said as she nodded.
"Good night" I said and kissed Mommy's cheek and then Shane's cheek.
"And wish good night to Daddy as well on my behalf, now bye!" I said while sprinting towards my chamber.
"Wait but- gosh this girl...." Mommy was saying but before she could say anything I was out of sight so she just facepalmed herself.
*Bang*
I opened my door with all my force and ran towards my bed before jumping on it.
"Hah...I'm tired" I said to myself.
Oh, I didn't mention, I have again resumed my classes of sword fighting with Grandpa Flyn. He came back yesterday since he was out of town for the last three weeks. He doesn't know anything regarding that Agnola incident. He was shook to the core when he saw Aunt Rosaline all well and obviously he cried too after seeing his daughter recover, he asked alot about how did that happen but everyone just told him it's a miracle.
*Knock Knock*
"Come in," I said.
"Miss, you haven't taken a bath yet. Since you skipped it this morning saying that you'll bathe at night so should I get it ready?" Fannie said entering the room.
"Right...I haven't bathed yet, but I'm tired~" I whined.
"Miss, I'll prepare a warm bath. It'll help you relieve your tiredness." Fannie said.
"You'll not spare me or will you?" I said looking at her as she shook her head.
"*sigh* Okay then...." I said and got off the bed.

"Ohhh...it is so relaxing" I said as Fannie was massaging and shampooing my head.
"I told you a warm bath relieves all your stress..." Fannie said.
"Hmm, you're right," I said.
"Oh no, we're out of soap. I'm sorry Milady, I'll be back in a few minutes" Fannie said as I nodded and she rushed out to get some soap while I was just enjoying the peacefulness. I was relaxing but out of nowhere suddenly a thought crossed my mind.
"Where the heck is that Augustus?" I said to myself.
"Who?" Fannie asked, entering the restroom.
"Uh...No one...Well that was fast..." I said awkwardly.
Soon I finished my bath and returned to my room.
"Hah...Now I can finally sleep- Woah!" I exclaimed looking at my room.
"Where did everything go? What the heck?" I said looking around. My room was empty and from empty I mean...literally empty.
"What the hell? Now- What?!" I turned around and saw no door in my room
"What's going on!!!" I shouted due to the shock.
"*giggle* I think this is enough..." a voice spoke.
"What? Who's that?" I asked since I saw no one in the room. Suddenly a bright light came out of nowhere, making me close my eyes. I slowly opened my eyes and everything was back just like before.
"What's...happening?" I spoke in a daze.
"Nothing. We were just having fun" a voice came from behind making me turn. I saw two flames floating in mid-air, one was an orange flame while the other was blue.
"Woah woah" I said as I stepped back.
"Don't panic, we won't hurt you..." the blue flame said.
"O-okay but...who are you? or more specifically...what are you?" I asked as they both giggled.
