There was a tenseness in the air no one had expected and no one wanted to address it even. Noah was sure he was not the only one who had felt it as well as Keito's expression screamed his discomfort.

Noah's mind screamed at him not to give th4 scroll away, to keep it for his usage and to keep it safe. There was a foreign influence in that thought process, real subtle for one person to be able to tell fully.

Still, Noah was no slouch and he had plenty of experience with things like these. Many people had tried using magic on his person to make him susceptible to their wishes.
